*** So what kinda music do you guys play? ***
The music of "Don't feed the Hippies" is as hard to describe as...well, as the name. We'd like to think we defy category, but if we must conform to a label given by an oppressive society, the most ready answer would be "Rock." No extra adjectives. Not metal, alternative, rap-core, punk....just rock. Each of the members has inordinantly varied taste in music, and it all comes through. Come see us sometime, your life will be changed for the better.
*** So who's in the band? ***
Well, there's Jamie, our unique drummer. First, she's a she, which is a rare quality in a drummer. Second, she's got purple hair, which, as far as any of us can tell, is her natural hair color. She also has an awesome (rather unorthadox) drum setup and a great playing style all her own that gives the overall sound character.
And, we've got a Matt. He plays bass, but isn't content with playing root quarter notes. Nope, it seems that ol' Matt isn't happy unless he's exploring the fretboard of his bass guitar for new notes yet to be discovered, or new ways to play them.
And there's me, Angelo. I play guitar, and sing. I'm a man of few words, so I'll use few words here.
