Yet not.

Encompassing everything.
Why?
The hardest task.
The simplest deed.
So much pain -
Astounding joy.
All bound eternally
By one word.
Fluttering hearts;
Lifelong journeys.
The darkest road;
The only road worth
Dying for.
All of these confoundly
Expressed in four letters.
Beautiful when true,
Ugly when fake.
Easily won;
Hard to maintain.
What is this paradox -
This something we cannot
Nor could not
Describe
In one small word.
An act:
A dead tree,
A man called God
Nailed.
Bleeding.
The curse of the world
Upon his head.
Not all words
In all languages
Speak the same
Kind of love
That he did.
Indescribable.
Amazing.
Undeserved.
Unrequited.
