(Sung to the tune of "A Song for Rich" by Michael W. Smith)
Here I walk upon a land
Broken by time's song.
I feel and breathe it too well.
So now a myth speaks of when
The land was whole.
And only I can recall
Those days long gone by.
In the time of our youth
Our hearts did sing.
But now they have gone to sleep-
Our time we can't keep.
To the shores we then must go.
Say farewell to time's song.
And will there be
Evil more to stay when we leave?
Oh the sea, it calls my name!
The white ships sail away.
And I again am reminded
I cannot stay.
And the lights of heaven
Guide us, beckon us there
To Valinor where our hearts
Will sing again.
