I woke up at 8:45am. The morning light shining through my window. Taylor was fast asleep, his hand still on my stomach. I didn't want to wake him up so early so I just laid in him arms until about 11:30am.
"Morning honey," he said, as he kissed me. "I love you."
"I love you too," I said as I rolled over towards him and kissed him full on the lips. He kinda hummed with satisfaction and smiled.
"Taylor!!!" Zac yelled, knocking on our door. "Phone!!!!"
"I didn't even hear it ring." Taylor said to me as he got up and reached for the phone. "I got it Zac. Hello? Oh, hey Ashley." Tay motioned for me to get another phone. "Yeah I know who she is." I picked up. "Her name is Alicia, right?" Ash asked.
"Yeah. She is one of Amy's best friends." Tay said. "Why?"
"Well, I like her. Well, I think I like her. I'd like to get to know her. Is she still there?" Ashley asked.
"Maybe."
"Come on, Tay. This girl is gorgeous. I have to meet her! If she's anything like Amy then I think I'll really like her!" Ashley said.
"What do you mean?"
"Well, you know, fun to be with, good sense of humor, can hold a good conversation, friendly." Ash said.
"Yeah. I guess I see what you mean. Yes Ashley, she's still here. And well, we were wondering if you wanted to go to the mall with us this afternoon, and then come back to the house with us to watch some movies." Taylor said.
"Of course I'd like to. When are we going?" Ashley said excitedly.
"I'll pick you up at one, okay?"
"Yeah, bye Tay."
"Bye," Taylor hung up. "Can you believe our luck?" he asked as I hung up.
"I know. But let's not say anything to Leesha. I have a feeling they'll be able to hook up without any of our help." I said as I lightly kissed him. "Now I have to shower. Tell Leesha we have to leave by a quarter-to." And I closed the bathroom door- but I didn't lock it. I knew he'd want to join me when he got back. And I was right. Halfway through my shower he opened the curtain, came in and wrapped his arms around me. "I knew you'd be in here." I said as he kissed my neck. He then go on he knees and kissed my stomach. "I love you too." he whispered. I tried to hide the tears that followed.
"Baby, what's wrong?" Taylor asked as he held me close to his chest.
"I don't know. I've seen guys that leave their girlfriends when they get pregnant. I knew you wouldn't leave me, but I wasn't positive as to how you really felt about this pregnancy but that just proved to me that you're happy about it. God I love you." I said, as I kissed him.
"I know." he said.
"But I suppose we should get out so Alicia has some hot water, eh?" I said as I squeezed the water out of my hair.
"She already had her shower. She's outside with Care and Beth." Tay said. We finished our shower and got ready to go shopping. I wore my light blue sundress and my white wedge-heel sandals. And Diana french-braided my hair.
"Hey Leesha, you ready to go?" I yelled into the backyard where she was playin' Frisbee with Beth, Care, Jessica and Avie.
"Yeah, I'm comin'!" She said as she threw the frisbee and ran to the house. "How do I look?" She asked.
"Leesha you look fine. Why are you asking? You never ask." I said as I climbed into the Blazer.
"Well, this is my first time really meeting Ashley and I want to make sure I look okay." She said as she got into the back.
"Alicia, you look great." Taylor said as he got in and started the truck. And she did. Alicia is very thin and kinda short with long brown hair. She was wearing her black tanktop with short khaki shorts. And her hair was pulled up in a high pony tail.
Ashley was waiting on the porch when we got there. "Hey guys," he said as he climbed in. "Hi Alicia."
"Hi Ashley." Alicia said, blushing a little.
"So, why are we going to the mall anyway?" Ashley asked.
"Amy needs some more clothes." Taylor said.
"Don't you have enough already?"
"Well, these are for later in the year. She'll need them." Alicia said.
"WAY later in the year. I REFUSE to get fat for another four months." I said laughing. Ashley had a confused look on his face.
"She's pregnant, Ash." Taylor said, after he saw the look on Ash's face.
"NO SHIT?! Wow! Congratulations, guys!" He said as he hit Taylor's shoulder and smiled at me. "Do Mom and Dad know yet?"
"Yeah, everyone in the house does. You're the first friend to find out."
"Well don't I feel special?!" Ashley said. I saw Alicia smile. I know what she was thinking (~Yeah, you are!~). "So Alicia, how long are you staying down here?" he asked.
"Only for another three days. I wish I could stay longer but y'know, I can only miss so much school." Leesha said as she looked over, caught Ashley's gaze and looked away. She could never stand locking eyes with a guy.
We were in the mall for about two hours. Nothing really happened for like, an hour, between Ashley and Alicia except for the occasional glances and smiles. But the major breakthrough was in the Disney store. We were all just kinda mingling through the store and Alicia saw the Lion King section.
"Oh my gosh! Ashley look at this!" She yelled as she grabbed his hand and brought him over. Once she realized she still had his hand when they got over there she blushed and let go. "I'm sorry." She said quietly. Ashley looked over at her with gentle eyes.
"That's okay," he said as he took her hand softly into his and their fingers intertwined. "I really like you Alicia." Ash said as he smiled.
"I like you too, Ashley." Alicia said, smiling brightly. Taylor and I saw the whole thing behind the Eeyore display.
"That is too perfect," I said as I took Taylor's hand and smiled.
"Yeah... they are so cute together. I just wish there were some way Alicia could stay longer. I mean, I think they're be perfect together." Tay said.
"I know! Why doesn't she just move in?" I asked.
"What?!?" Taylor said, shocked.
"Well, we still have half the basement, she doesn't live with her parents anyway and she gets along with everyone." I said. Taylor just looked at me in disbelief. "Besides, I already talked it over with Mom, and she said she'd love to have her here."
"But Amy, the money. I mean, I know the band is making a lot but pretty soon we'll have the baby." Taylor said.
"She'll get a job! She won't mind, Tay, I promise. Plus we haven't been using Dad's income at all. We've just been saving it. What do you think, honey? Can I talk to her about it?" I asked as I looked up at him with those puppy-dog eyes.
"Yes, Amy."
"Thankyou-thankyou-thankyou!" I said as I jumped up and down and hugged him tight. "I love you so much!" I said and I kissed him. We left the Disney store after Tay bought me an Eeyore sweatshirt and Ashley bought Alicia a Lion King dufflebag.
"Thanks Ashley, this will come in handy for my trips down here." Alicia said. Taylor & I exchanged glances that said ~She won't be visiting, it'll help her move.~ and we smiled.
We left at around three or so and went to pick out some movies to watch. Both of the guys wanted to see "The Matrix" so we got that. Then Alicia and Ashley wanted to see "Never Been Kissed" so they got that to watch in the Rec. Room. And Taylor and I got "Confusion" -- a movie kinda like "Can't Hardly Wait", "10 Things I Hate About You" and "Forces Of Nature" all put together.
"The Matrix" was actually a good movie. We watched it upstairs in my room. Taylor and I on our bed, and Alicia and Ashley on the futon.
Alicia's P.O.V.
~This is too strange. I mean, this is just perfect.~ I thought as Ashley's arm wrapped around me. I mean, I didn't mind but I was still kinda with Keith. ~But the ass cheated on me with two people~ I thought angrily as I nestled my head into Ashley's shoulder, which oddly enough smelled like my favourite cologne. Ashley then intertwined his fingers through mine and pulled me closer to him by my waist. But I was dreading when this movie was going to end. Then we'd have to go to the Rec. Room -- alone.
"Well that was a good movie... don't you think, Leesha?" Ashley asked. I snapped out of my trance.
"Yeah it was." I said, getting up. "Amy, do you want to come with me to make some popcorn?" I asked, giving her the -we have to talk- look.
"Yeah, sure. I'll be right back, Tay." She said as she got up. I took her hand and ran downstairs. "Hold on, Leesha! What's wrong?"
"I like him, Amy!" I said.
"And....?" Amy asked with a confused look.
"I can't. I'm leaving in like, two days. I'm still kinda with Keith. And I'm afraid that if I go back upstairs I'll REALLY start liking him. Y'know?" I said quickly and somewhat panicked.
"Leesha, listen. I have a solution for the limited time. Keith slept with Vanessa for God's Sake -- it's over between you two, and it's okay if you REALLY like Ashley because he REALLY likes you, okay?" Amy said as she took the popcorn out of the microwave.
"Wait, Amy, did I forget to tell you he kissed Mandy too? And that do you mean, you have a solution to the limited time?" I asked. ~What crazy idea does she have now?~
"Well, I talked to Mom and she really likes you. And I asked her if you could move in--"
"Amy I couldn't do that." I quickly interrupted.
"Yes you can. We still have half the basement and money isn't really a problem. I mean, you might want to get a job for spending money 'cause once the baby's here, that's where a lot of the money will go. And you'd have a choice of being homeschooled with us, or you could go to public school with Care and Ashley." Amy explained.
"OH MY GOD AMY!!!!! I love you SO much!" I said as I went to hug her. She hugged me tight, saying,
"I know."
