~The next morning. 6:30am~
"Guys- come on. Get up. We have to leave in two hours." Zac yelled as he shook Taylor.
"Okay, okay. Get out." Taylor mumbled.
"We can't miss our flight. Again, y'know." Zac said as-a-matter-of-factly.
"Okay, Zac. We're up." I said as I climbed out of bed. He then left and I sat down next to Taylor and kissed him on the cheek. He smiled warmly and pulled me to him. We kissed, our tongues playing with each other until I convinced him to get up with me.
We all showered, got ready, ate and threw our bags in the Blazer. It was just us kids going- Isaac & Beth, Ashley & Alicia, Zac & Care, Taylor & me. We were going to have a blast. -As long as Alicia's mom doesn't come home. Right now she was somewhere in Montana with her boyfriend.
~On flight 421~
"Hey Amy, can I talk to you?" Zac asked from behind me.
"Sure." I said, getting up. "What's up?" I asked as we walked away from the rest of the group.
"Well, I talked to Taylor about some of this but I needed a girl's point of view on part of it." I had NO clue what he was talking about and he must've seen it in my eyes because he continued. "Care wants to sleep with me. Y'know, she wants me to take her virginity. And I'm worried... that... I'll hurt her."
"Oh Zac." I said sympathetically. "Don't worry about that. If she's honestly, truly ready then it won't hurt her. At least not that much. The pain won't bother her."
"Did it bother you when you first lost your virginity?"
"Yes, immensely. But that's because I wasn't ready." I said.
"Tay said if you have sex too soon and you aren't ready it will destroy the relationship. Why haven't you & Tay broken up?" Zac asked, confused.
"Zac, I didn't lose my virginity to Taylor. I gave it to my boyfriend when I was 14. And I wasn't ready so I didn't have sex again until I met Taylor. I was completely ready for him. And that's why our relationship is still strong. So I think you should talk to her. Tell her your fears. Ok?" He nodded. "Don't worry about it."
"Thank you so much Amy." Zac said as he hugged me.
"Anytime, honey."
Care's P.O.V.
"Honey, wake up. I have to talk to you." Zac whispered in my ear. I opened my eyes to find them staring into Zac's rich chocolate-brown eyes. I smiled and he kissed my softly. "I have to talk to you."
"Zac, can't it wait 'til we land? That's only in 20 minutes." I asked as I nestled my head into his shoulder.
Zac's P.O.V.
I sensed that Care really didn't want to talk so I backed off. "Okay sweetie." I whispered as I stroked the hair out of her face. She smiled warmly at me without opening her eyes. I leaned down and kissed her forehead. "I love you." I whispered.
"I love you too, Zac." Care said- muffled because she still had her face in my shoulder.
~I feel so stupid. I know I need to talk to her. And I know I need to tell her how I feel but I feel so dumb. What if she laughs at me? No Zac, she wouldn't laugh. She loves you.~ I came to the conclusion that I would definately talk to her when we landed and found a private place.
-Noon, Minneapolis-
My P.O.V.
"Holy shit, Alicia! You weren't kidding when you said it was really cold." Ashley said, clinging to Alicia.
"I take it you've never been up north." I said, laughing.
"No, I'm sorry, I haven't. Come on Isaac- crank up the heat." Ashley said as we all jumped into the van Isaac rented.
"Okay, okay. Aren't we a little pushy?" Isaac retorted.
"I'm freezing!!" Ashley continued to whine and we continued to ignore him until we were about five miles away from the airport. "Okay, I'm better."
"Well good." I said as I laid on Tay's shoulder.
"Hey Zac, what did you want to talk to me about?" Care asked as she vaguely became more awake.
"Nothing." He said quietly.
"No, Zac. I know it was important. What's wrong?" Care persisted.
"I'd rather talk about it in private, okay?" I saw the worry in Care's eyes.
"Don't worry honey, it's nothing baf." I said as I leaned over the seat and smiled.
"Okay." She said quietly as she clasped his hand.
2:00pm
We were about fifteen miles away from Mora. And someone was trying to wake me up.
"Amy Lee... come on, we're almost there." Alicia said, shaking me.
"Okay. Where are we?" I asked as we sat up.
"We're almost to the Braham turn-off." Beth said from the front. I looked over at Taylor. He was sound asleep. I wrapped my arms around him and kissed his cheek.
"Good morning honey." I whispered as he stirred. He smiled as soon as he saw me in his arms.
"So, what are we going to do?" Ashley asked as we quickly approached Mora. Beth, Alicia and I checked our watches and all of us got EVIL grins.
"What?" All the guys and Care asked, confused.
"School's not out yet!!" we all yelled.
"We HAVE to stop by school." I said, somewhat whining.
"Well... I don't know..." Isaac said, a smile coming across his face. But once he saw the pathetic look on our faces he couldn't resist. "Oh, ok."
"Yes!!" We said excitedly. "We are going to shock the fuck out of everyone." I said.
"No doubt." Beth said.
"How do I look?" Both Alicia and I asked at the same time, then cracked up.
"You're beautiful." Ashley and Taylor answered.
"Amber's going to die!" Leesha said.
"Oh, I know! And Nicki & Sarah & Trisha & ohmigod this is going to be so much fun!" I said excitedly.
"Wait, how are we supposed to find everyone?" Beth asked.
"Y'know, she has a point." Leesha said. Everyone else was confused so they shut up.
"Well, hey, we could go to the counsellor's office- Mrs.Christianson always did love me. And we'll get their schedules. We have so many people to catch. We'll have to split up." i said.
"And make sure you tell them about the party at my house tonight." Alicia said.
"How could we forget?" Beth said, laughing as we parked on the road next to the school.
"God, I haven't been here in so long. I think I've forgotten what it's like." I said, climbing out of the van.
"Forgot?! How about us?" Taylor said.
"Yeah! We've never been in school." Zac said.
"Except for those private schools in South America." Isaac said.
"Well, should we go?" Care asked as we approached the front doors of the school.
"Of course." All us girls answered as we hooked our arms through each others and skipped towards the door. We let go of each other when we got to the door and took hold of our man.
Chapter Forty-Three: "We're Back" HOME!
