Chapter Five: Mall of America
We got back to the buses in the cities at around 3 o'clock.
"Hey we still have plenty of time left before we have to drive to Chicago to catch our flight. Let's go to The Mall of America." Zac said.
"Now honey you know we can't do that." Care said.
"Sure we can we just have to be extra careful and bring Jason and the boys just in case something gets out of hand." Taylor said.
"Well okay then but where should we put our stuff?" I asked no one in particular.
"I'll take care of that otherwise you won't have much time to shop." Diana said grabbing our stuff.
We arrived at MoA about 20 minutes later. "Where do you want to go first?" Zac asked as we entered the huge mall, each holding the others hand.
"How about 'Ragstock'? I love that store." Care suggested.
"Yeah sure we love that store too." Taylor said.
"You know it's really nice how the boys stay out of the way or whatever." Beth said.
"Yeah, well they only come to keep us all safe. They realize that we DO have lives." Isaac said.
After about a half an hour in Ragstock Taylor got a new shirt and bought me a new dress and a new shirt. Isaac bought two new shirts for himself and bought Beth a new dress and a new pair of shoes. Zac got a new pair of vinyl pants and a new pair of boots for himself and bought Care a new dress and a pair of boots to match his. ~how cute~
We then made our way to Radio Shack. All of us got a pager so that when we DID get separated we could still get a hold of each other. Mine and Tay's were red, Zac's and Care's were blue, and Isaac's and Beth's were green.
After that we went to the arcade. We all played a game of laser tag then I beat Taylor at Mortal Combat 3. While we were watching Care and Zac play Air Hockey, Jason told us that we had to go.
"So what did you guys get?" Jessica asked the moment we stepped onto the bus.
"Well we got matching pagers!" Zac yelled as he pulled his out of his pocket.
"That was a good idea." Walker said.
"Oh and we picked up some clothes at 'Ragstock" I said putting my bag down on the couch.
"Oh let's see." Diana said as she took my hand and we went to the back of the bus. We showed them our new outfits.
"And my new boots match Zac's new boots." Care said with a big grin.
"He's definitely the type of guy to do something like that." Diana said as we made our way to the front of the bus again.
"So, Walker, what's the tour schedule like for this summer?" I asked sitting down next to Taylor my hand intertwined with his.
"Well, let's see," Walker started. " Paris, London, Italy, Sydney, Montreal, Toronto, New York, Memphis, Chicago, Detroit, Atlanta, Miami, Tulsa, Las Vegas, LA, Hawaii, Japan, Hong Kong, and finally a three week long vacation on Kingman's Reef Island."
"WOW, looks like we are in for a major trip." Beth said.
"Yeah but it'll be fun." Taylor said.
