I fell asleep with Taylor somewhere between Atlanta and somewhere in Florida. "Where are we?" I asked once I woke up.
"We're about 300 miles from Miami." Taylor said "We should be in Miami in about six hours."
"So around four? It's nine right now." Care said as she braided Zac's hair.
"Yeah that sounds about right." Walker said from the from the front of the bus. I started to get up for a cappuccino but Taylor grabbed me from behind and pulled me back to him on the couch.
"Isn't it just gorgeous out here?" he said as I landed in his lap.
"Yeah it is."
"So guys what is this whole Miami thing about?" Beth asked.
"Well it's for the American Cancer Society. A lot of other bands are going to be there." Isaac started.
"Like Backstreet Boys, N'Sync, Savage Garden, Shania Twain, Brandy, just a whole bunch of us. It'll be great." Zac finished.
"You'll have to go shopping again though." Jessica said.
"Why?" We all asked.
"Because it's a charity BALL. Kinda like Prom all over again." Jess said.
"Oh don't even remind me of Prom." I groaned and laid back on Tay. Beth knew what I was talking about and gave me a sympathetic look then we both bursted out laughing.
"Oh is that the...?" Care started but once she saw me nodding she almost busted a gut with us. What happened at Prom was originally I was going to go with Troy but we got in a fight so I asked Ron. Ron said yes but on the day of Prom Troy came to my house as Ron and I were leaving and he picked a fight with Ron. I was so embarrassed. After awhile though my dog attacked Troy and I had a wonderful night with Ron.
"We're here!!" I heard Walker yell from the front.
"Grab your stuff we'll be at the hotel in like two minutes." Taylor said. So I got off his lap and went to my bunk to get my stuff. Tay came up behind me, put his arms around my waist and asked kissing the back of my neck, "Have I told you yet today that I love you?"
"No..." I said turning around and kissing him back.
"Well here we are." Care said. "Wow this place is gorgeous."
"Yeah I know." Zac said grabbing her hand. "It's one of my favorite places to stay in the states." The hotel was huge and gorgeous. It was on the coast but that made it even more special.
"How come there aren't any fans waiting for you?" Beth asked.
"We're a day early." Tay said.
"Wait you mean that we get a day to ourselves?" I asked.
"Yeah for a little while anyway." Isaac said. Once we got off Mackenzie came running at me. (He was on the other bus) I lifted him up and spun him around as I hugged him.
"Amy, I missed you all the way from Atlanta." Mackenzie said as he bear-hugged me.
"I missed you too." I said as I put him down. The hotel was 15 stories high and just wonderful. Taylor wrapped his arm around me as we walked inside. We stood by the water fountain type thing waiting for mom and dad to get our rooms. Taylor, Zac, Isaac, Beth, Care, and I got a completely separate room from the rest of the family. (our room was on the 14th floor-room 269) And as Tay rubbed by shoulders I could've sworn I saw my friend from Mora -Alana across the lobby. ~But what would she be doing here?~ I asked myself. So I decided to get a second opinion.
"Hey Beth," I said as I jabbed her with my elbow. "Is that Alana over there?"
"Ow Amy that hurt. Naw why would she be here in Miami?" Beth said as she rubbed her elbow.
"I don't know that's why I asked you." I said. Just then I heard someone yell my name from across the lobby. "AMY LEE!!!??"
"Alana it IS you!!" I yelled back.
"Duh Amy told ya'" Beth laughed. So I laughed lightly and elbowed her again. And I grabbed Tay's hand as I ran over to meet her.
"What are you doing here?" I asked as I hugged her.
"We're here to see Backstreet Boys Duh who else?" Alana said.
"Um, maybe Hanson." Isaac said somewhat insulted.
"Oh sorry, Alana this is Tay, Isaac, Zac, that's Care and of course you know Beth."
"YEAH I DO!" Alana said and we cracked up laughing-inside joke from 11th grade.
"It's nice to meet you." the boys said in unison.
"Oh sorry guys I'm just a little excited to be here cuz we got backstage passes and an evening out with Backstreet so I'm not exactly myself. I even forgot to introduce you to Jen! ...Jen?!" Alana said looking around for Jen, her cousin.
"Here I am." Jen said while returning with pop in hand.
"Jen, this is Amy Lee, Care, Beth, Zac, Taylor and last but not least Isaac." Alana said trying to make up for her earlier unintentional insult.
"That's for sure." Beth said under her breath as Alana said the last but not least part.
"So is this the hotel you're staying at?" I asked with a sly grin.
"Yeah, you too?" Alana asked her smile getting bigger.
"YEAH it is." I said and we bursted out laughing again.
"Well I can tell this is going to be interesting." Tay said as he motioned over the rest of the family. "Mom, Dad this is one of Amy's friends, Alana and her friend Jen." Tay said and he introduced everyone.
"Hey guys we have to take off, our bell boy is waiting. But we'll catch up to you later. Call us our room number is 169. Okay?" Alana said as Jen pulled her away.
"Well she seems cool." Zac said as we made our way to the elevator.
"Wow Amy Lee check out this view!" Care said as she opened the blinds to the balcony. I opened the door and walked out onto the balcony it was so gorgeous and romantic. I loved it. I came back and all three guys had very evil grins.
"What?" I asked.
"Well we were just thinking, Alana likes the Backstreet Boys, huh?" Zac asked.
"Yeah..." I said wondering where in the world this could possibly be going.
"Well did you know the BSB are staying in this hotel?" Tay asked. I shook my head.
"Let's set her up with her favorite boy!!" Zac said slyfully.
"We could do that." Isaac said.
"Yeah we get along with them pretty well. Which one is her favorite?" Taylor asked.
"Brian by far." I said.
"Which one is your favorite?" Tay asked me holding me close to him.
"I don't know what that has to do with anything but Nick I guess." I said more than slightly confused.
"Okay I'll give them a call." Isaac said picking up the phone. "Hey this is Isaac Hanson. Hi AJ. Say are Brian and Nick around? Could I talk to one of them please? Yeah hi Nick. How are you? That's good. Could you and Brian come up to our room we'd like to discuss something with you. No nothing bad. Yeah, okay, bye. They're coming up in like 5 minutes."
After discussing with Zac, Tay and Ike what was going on there was a knock on the door.I was closest to it so I got it.
"Hey." I said opening the door to nick and Brian.
"Well I didn't think I'd ever got the pleasure of seeing you again." Nick said as he walked in and hugged me. I met them once while in New York.
"Yeah I know what you mean." Brian said as he hugged me too. Then they both went around hugging the girls and doing their guy thing with Isaac, Taylor and Zac.
"So what's up?" Brian asked as he sat down.
"Well Amy has this friend from Mora staying here for the concert. Her name is Alana..." Zac started. We discussed everything and I called Alana.
"Hey is Alana there?" I asked. I heard laughing and a minute later she was on the phone. "Hey can you meet me in the lobby in 15 minutes? Nothing just hurry." And I hung up. "Okay, she'll be there." We went over everything one more time and I left.
