BOOKS:

(I used to be a big fan of used book stores. Until I tried trading off some
books at one I had patronized for years - Magus in Seattle. They had a sign
in the front window that said they did such trades. Wouldn't give me the
time of day. Couldn't even be bothered looking at what I had. Live and
learn. I'll never go back there again.

ABE is great for most anything you want. They and their vendors know and
care about books. Amazon sux Bigtime. I was a Amazon bookseller and know
whereof I speak. Half.com is great if you want to sell books to the unwashed,
no-taste masses. But nobody around there knows or cares about books beyond
their price. An increasing number of titles are available online in HTML or
plain text. Pop the name in a search engine. You might be pleasantly
 surprised.)
