At the best cafe on Earth! If the veiw wasn't great enough, the food was good, and the waiter, bus boy, manager, and owner all called us "Princess" and treated us like such!
And we were staying in a palace like hotel too!
yes we rode Camels, I never heard the end of it from Beth teasing me about My 'riding Moses' as that was my camel's name..her's was just Jack....which made teasing her about her ride less funny, alas...though I notice now in the pictures, her camel was bigger than mine.

And We sailed down the Nile, not once but thrice!
One of our sailing trips was a midnight dinner cruise!After a walk around downtown Cario in the dark....we managed to not get into trouble in spite of us getting several offers, my even getting a offer of marriage, and Beth dragging me across the Cairo trafic (picture chaos veiwed in fast forward!) not once but twice in search of a bathroom...which we did find eventually in a shop, of course where we got to be hit on by more store keepers...and haggle over trinkets, cause we'd not bought enough stuff yet...LOL...But we managed to survive corssing the street both times...9The gods be priased!)
And we went to the Museum In Cairo on another day.
