The 2003 INAUGURAL NEBRASKA RENAISSANCE FAIRE

HUZZAH! Considering that this was its FIRST year … And that it wasn’t “widely” advertised … AND that it was a “DRY FAIRE” (NO wyne or ale – FIE!), Our brand new Nebraska Ren Faire was REASONABLY SUCCESSFUL!!! Certainly, it was TONZ o’ FUN for those who attended!

The 2003 Nebraska Renaissance Faire ‘twas held on three days: Friday, September 26th (3 pm to 7pm), Saturday, September 27th (10 am to 7 pm), and Sunday, September 28th (10 am to 6 pm) in “The Royal Oak Grove” of Carol Joy Holling Lutheran Camp. (Hence, the “DRY” gig!)

’Twas organized by Sir Gregory and Lady Bonnie (et al), of the Iowa-based Festivals International company, in association with the “Viking Living History/ Dark Age Edu-tainment” group, based in Omaha, Nebraska. It featured FIVE stages of entertainment, including Equestrian Jousting!!! Best of all: Sir Gregory was kind enough to allow space for the Unofficial Nebraska Wenches’ Lust Muster Poynte!!!.
