CHAS’ & SUSAN’S EXCELLENT 2002 UK ADVENTURE Day Three

Can we say, “WOOF!!!” I think we can!

DAY THREE was our “last” day to explore and experience London. So, we crammed in:
Buckingham Palace … Piccadilly Circus … the British Museum …
Trafalgar Square … Westminster Abbey … Parliament … Big Ben …
the Tower of London … what am I forgetting?! (Pant! Pant!)

Thank Gawd (in Her Infinite Wizdum), that we finally managed to become somewhat “fluent” in figuring out the BUS system! We certainly got our money’s worth from our Bus Pass on that day!!!

SPEAKING of BUS PASSES!

On each of the three days we were in London, while enroute to the Paddington Bus Stop, we visited a little shop on London Street(!) … either to buy supplies, or bus passes, or to obtain vital INFORMATION about stuff. Thus, each day, I had a lovely conversation with PATRICK – the guy who always helped us. Also, Patrick humorously ridiculed Susan for being associated with me, each day! Thus, he truly endeared himself to us! (Ha!)

So, on this – our LAST day in London –
I asked Susan to take my pic with Patrick, before we set off on the bus.

AH! Also on London Street, we daily passed this sign. Since we knew we’d be getting a picture of “Big Ben” for Susan’s son, Ben, today … we took pix of the “Walker” sign, for Susan’s son, Walker!

To my niece, Taylor, “Hey, Girl! Here you go!”

Our first Bus-change stop was at the MARBLE ARCH. We saw it! That’s about it! NEXT: On to our first “real” stop: Buckingham Palace!

WOW. We happened to arrive just prior to a “Changing of the Guards” gig!

The crowd wasn’t too large. And, we were able to see the Palace, the fountain, and Queen Victoria’s monument quite well. Queen Victoria’s Monument

After getting waived-on by a BOBBY, we walked through "GREEN PARK!"
