An Ode to Him (A Caskets Love)

Unkempt from a sinister embrace
A cold hand crept along unyielding flesh
parting legs that were brittle with fear
to take what innocence an ice filled heart had left
like a vulture to a fresh kill you plucked and pulled at her flesh
till there was nothing left
Was remorse even part of your thought pattern
You are no tracker but a taker
of what could never be
A false opening and I leapt
with the hope of a newborn child
I sought survival with you
and found nothing but death
A parched scroll told your secrets
A past of wrecked visages
Hearts your cold hand clutched tight
how could they pull free, unbreakable bound
A being filled with all the hate in the world
it had shown on your beauty
Your dragon breath burned the soot at your feet
You took what you wanted and left nothing
but fear...remorse....
The skies opened and wept on her tattered body
The blood soaked the sands at your Western Beach
Where shall you stand now and speak sweet nothings
Will you discard her like so many before her..
How do you stand on soiled sands...beloved...?
