Golden Sun is a remarkable RPG made by Camelot. Lately RPGs have been the minority in my choice of games, which is a big change from my past likes, but this game seems to have changed that all once again. I'm eagerly awaiting future RPGs on the GBA lineup.

The graphics, I've never seen anything on the SNES or GBA to match these eye-stunning graphics, their EXCELLENT, they seem to surpass any sprite graphics I've seen to this day. The sound is also a great quality on this game, beautiful battle music, great scenerio music in almost every case. Character voices are a nice touch, and the sound of attacks and magic is as good as it will ever get on the GBA.

Incredible story, and great characters. Antagonists that you will despise with a passion, and a group of heroes (unfortuneatly almost all are the same age) that become very likeable. The story is very interesting but unfortuneately, the end leaves you so disappointed that you probably won't feel like playing through it twice if your tastes are similar to mine. Though, it leaves you waiting for a sequel. The only REAL complaint I have about the story is that in some cases there is far too much text.

The gameplay is the best I've ever seen in an RPG, so I won't go there. The replay value is horrible, you may find yourself losing interest before finishing the game, after you get so many Djinn and artifactual equipment you begin to get a sense of ease in battles, but they will get much harder in the end if you can't manage to find all those hard-to-find Djinn. If it weren't for multiplayer, I may never have continued playing the game past it's ending.

If you have a GBA you should probably get the game, or at least try to borrow it from a friend.
