The Education Bill's only direct relevance to faith schools is that it provides that where a proposed new school is rejected by the local School Organisation Committee, the sponsoring body should have a right of appeal provided that it is not represented on that Committee. (The Roman Catholic church and the Church of England are automatically so represented.)
