Fraternities & Sororities

Want other ways to get involved? The dozen Fraternity and Sorority chapters at North Atlantic provide a great way to connect with other students as well as the surrounding community. Many of our pledges develop as leaders through community service and planning social activities.

Culture North Atlantic is proud to be a cultural center for our region. Attend one of the critically acclaimed theatrical productions in the 1,100-seat Freeman Theatre. Or, enjoy exhibitions at the Matthews Art Gallery, highlighting the work of many students in our esteemed school of art. For musical enjoyment, come to events as diverse as a string quartet recital or a rehearsal of the North Atlantic Marching Band.
Action Off Campus At North Atlantic, you can build adventure into your academic program as well. We strongly encourage all of our students to head out of the classroom and into the world. We’ll point you to one or more of the thousands of opportunities for internships in locations throughout the Northeast. We have students assisting on newspaper staffs in major cities, helping environmental groups to clean up the Vermont woodlands, and designing composite materials for companies such as Badweather Umbrella Corporation.
The Surrounding Region One of the best aspects of coming to North Atlantic is breathing in the crisp Vermont air and enjoying its natural beauty. You don’t have to stray far from the campus to find scenic mountains with deep snow, pristine lakes, and babbling streams. Visitors from around the globe come to witness our spectacular views. Vermont is graced with 15 alpine ski areas and 47 cross country centers, as well as more than 2000 miles of marked and groomed snowmobile trails, so you can get your exercise in the great outdoors as well. We also encourage students to make their way downtown to explore local culture. Greenville’s own Maple Syrup Farm and the nearby Centre City Symphony are great places to begin your journey into the Northern New England lifestyle.
