May 12th: Hey ya'll. Still working on the new site, thanks for being patient.
Pinhead Circus is on their last tour right now. Their final show is on May
25th at Tulagi's in Boulder. Thanks to everyone that came to The Gamits
release show. Their new ep "Come Get Some" should be hitting stores any
minute. You can always order it thru us for $6 ppd. We will be releasing
the long awaited new Qualm full length this summer so get pumped! It's a
great album. The release show will be June 29th at Tulagi's. Our buddies
in The Nutsockets will also have a new CD out that night. 5 Day Messiah is
hitting the studio next month to record a new album. Contender leaves for
tour later this month so check 'em out when they come thru your town. Check
back soon, it's gonna be a busy summer!
March 30th:Hope everyone is doing good! We are prod to announce that we are
putting out a new CD by The Gamits. It is called "Come Get Some" and it is
a re-release of their 1st 7" plus a ton of bonus tracks. It is $6ppd direct
from us. There will be a big release show Sunday April 7 at Tulagi's to
celebrate this new CD. Contender is releasing their new album on Negative
Progression Records called "awaywithwords" at the show as well. Deadlock
Frequency and Bailer will rock the house as well. We're going to be doing
"Bag Sets" that night as well. It's going to be 7 of our releases for $10!
That's a great deal. For those of you not able to make this show The Gamits
and Contender are playing in CO Springs the night before at HW Briggs.
Contender just got back from a west coast tour and they'll be headed out to
the midwest in late May. Stay tuned for info on a new 5 Day Messiah album
this summer. The web page is in the process of being rebuilt, so check back
for more news and thanks for your patience as we prepare to launch the new
site!
December 24th Happy holidays to anyone that celebrates anything. Pinhead Circus is
back from their fall tour and they had a good time. There will be lots of
new stuff going on at NBR next year including a new web page and a CD from
The Gamits. More on the latter as the new year unfolds. See ya'll next

October 16th Hey everybody. There is a benefit show at the Bluebird Theater on
10/17 in which the door money will go to the families victimized by the WTC
tragedy. We will be there selling records and donating 10% of our proceeds
to the cause along with Suburban Home, Paco Garden, and Seven Lucky. The
bands will be great, so come if you can. In other news, Contender has
signed on with Negative Progression Records out of San Fransisco, CA. Their
new full length will be out early next year and we wish them the best.
Chuck is recovering from knee surgery so it'll be a little while before
Contender or 5 Day Messiah will be playing again. But, that means the next
time you see either band there will be lots of new stuff. Pinhead Circus is
out on tour again, check their web site for show info. Thanks for tuning

Hey everyone. Thanks to all that came out to the Pinhead
Circus show. It was a good time and a lot of people got some good deals on

August 24th:
Hey, everybody! Contender has finally found a new drummer. Jason,
formerly of Angels Never Answer, has taken the position after his band
unfortunately ended. Contender will be playing their first show with the
new line-up on August 31 at Tulagi's in Boulder at The Gamits CD release
show. Speaking of CD releases, come celebrate Not Bad's Lucky 13th Release
of the new Pinhead Circus CD ep at Tulagi's on September 7th with Reach the
Sky, Rise Against, and The Departure. Anyone that buys the new ep at the
show can buy ANY other Not Bad release for half price! This is a great
opportunity to check out some of our other stuff you may not have yet. Be
sure to check out the new Departure CD "A Neccesity For Ruins". It'll be out
by the same show Thanks.
August 3rd:
Hello! Things have been busy this summer at the Not Bad HQ. We just
received the new Pinhead Circus CD ep's and there will be a release show
sometime in August. The CD is a repress of their last 7" they did with us
plus 2 new songs that are great! In case you haven't heard, Colin and
Contender parted ways earlier this summer. We'll keep you posted on any new
drummer news. We'd like to thank Suburban Home distribution for picking up
our last two releases. It's been a big help. Check back later for the
current happenings!
April 6th:
Thanks to all the people that made it out to the Contender release show
a couple weeks back. It was great! The new ep is in stores and is also
available right here. Pick up the new Pinhead Circus album too, it's the
best one yet. Contender's spring tour was going good unitl their van
burnded down with everything in it. No joke, it's all gone. The guys are
all OK and hopefully insurance will take care of most everything. Check out

Hey there all. It's been a while since the last update. We'd like
to welcome Denver's own Contender to the Not Bad family. We'll be releasing
the "Scenic Overlook" CD ep in conjuction with Braeburn records on March 17
at the Cat. Be there! Stupid HumIn Tricks has reunited (YES!) and will be
playing the show along with the Nutsockets and Pinhead Circus (also
releasing a new CD!). Speaking of Pinhead Circus, we will be re-releasing
the 7" on CD with new additonal tracks for your listening pleasure. Thanks
