Along the banks of the River Welland in Market Harborough there are many beautiful weeping willows. This is a collection of pictures of the ones between Farndon Road and Kettering Road. There are 22 pictures here but because some have more than one weeping willow there are a few more than 22 of them. I wonder how many there are in total. Passing by the small island on the way I noticed small branches of weeping willows which had been broken off and thrown into the water. And they were starting to grow there! I haven't included them but they show the power of willows to generate new growth.
