Nanki Shiriama Adventure World is a large park featuring rides, a zoo, gardens, and an Aquarium. They have displayed Orcas since the 1970's, and currently have 2 adults and a juvenile on display. They have never been shy about buying Orcas from recent captures, and in recent years have purchased 5 Orcas from 2 captures. They currently have a permit, and staff to capture Orcas in Russia, along with the Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium. They will likely acquire 2 to 4 Orcas in these captures.

Nanki's pool is not very large. The performance pool (the largest) is a mere 23 feet deep, and only holds 1 million gallons of water! They have 2 small side pools that are accessible from the main pool, one being 28 feet long, and 52 feet wide (depth unknown) , the other being 40 feet square. In addition, they have an unconnected pool, very old, with a bad filtration system and very rusted, were they place Orcas in training, and new arrivals. This old pool has been known to cause animals health problems.
