The jury who convicted the boys were shown a number of pictures including the crime scene, various shots of the strand shopping centre where the abduction took place, and the many streets and locales where the boys had taken James following the abduction. Shortly after the boys had taken James from the shopping centre, a taxi driver saw one of the older boys carrying James along Stanley Road, pictured here.
