Judge Morland
Judge Morland oversaw the Bulger case, and eventually ruled that each boy serve a minimum sentence of eight years in a youth offenders institution for their crime. The basis for his judgement, he said, was that "While at the time of the offense they were children, in eight years time they will be young men."
