03/05/03 - "About fucking time!!!" Yeah Yeah. I didnt think people came here but obviously i was wrong. I'll update it more, i promise. Anyway a few gigs have been and gone and they were really damn good. Thanks alot for coming along we really do appreciate it. Hopefully we'll have another show in a month or two but dont be surprised if it ends up being three years. We shall have a bit of new material to play next time as well for a change. Also - New bass player is James 'Darth' Parker who is a bloody wally. Colley has decided to play the drum kit for us. What a nice chap. Okay, until next time - chips.
1/1/03 - Okay about time for another god damn update. Getting too lazy. Happy New Year. Not much has really been happening all this time. We finished a three-track demo cd with the songs 'The Great Inner Nothingness', 'Mind Games', and 'Time To Fly'. If you want a copy, contact us. I'll try upload a song or two so we actually have something worth downloading here. Well, maybe worth downloading. No gigs at the moment. Probably won't be playing one for another month or two, which also means there probably wont be any more updates for two months or three. Glass and trucks.
13/09/02 - Hello. Where were we? Sam and Belinda's gig (Carnage) was very very great and they are both wonderful and have nice attributes. The Wami/WF gig was good aswell thankyou Dysie. Thanks to all the people that have been coming along. We spent a day recording with Aaron (Thankyou!) at Leederville Tafe and we shall have a 3 track demo whenever we get around to doing the mixing/overdubs etc. Alright thats about it i think
22/07/02 - Well it's been a while since the last update, nothing much has been happening. There's been a bit of a change to the layout of the front of the site which you've probly noticed, which is the result of my feeble attempts at making a semi-decent-professional looking site. We have another gig on the 25th August at Headquarters Leederville that is being organised by Sam and Belinda (Paradigm Promotions) which means it will go off as all of the gigs they put on do as they are very great and excellent. Colley and Cabba were on RTRFM Critical Mass which was good, pretty pointless, but good. Thankyou Dysie and Mcgoo! We may also be recording a demo (Finally) within the next couple of months. Lkaidsjdnsaaid jsaoifjdisre sjks.
30/04/02 - National Youth Week was alright. Awesome line up of bands but not that great a turn out, bt still ok. Thankyou very much to Belinda and Sam for everything again. Breaking The Silence was really good. Thanks to Nathan for that.Nothing much else planned for the moment, so in the meanwhile, go to the links section and check out heaps of other perth metal bands, cause they all rule.
03/04/02 - We're playing 14th April at Headquarters Leederville, for National Youth Week with an awesome line up of bands. It will be pretty god damn packed i think - seeing that it is being advertised on 92.9 and channel 7, so get down there. Also Breaking The Silence the week later on 21st April (which Colley cant play at!!!!AHHHHHHH). You might wanna check out http://www.hq.org.au for all them details - either that or just go to the 'gigs' section. I also did a huge update of the 'links' section so head over there for some cool perth band pages. I'm also probly gonna send out our first thingy to the mailing list. Ive automatically put people on so if you get a message in your email from us and you dont want it, send it back and abuse us. Thats about it for now. Bye Bye.
12/03/02 - Check out the gigs section for a gig on 14th April at Headquarters. There is also a gig coming up in late April/early May called Breaking The Silence which we are currently scheduled to be playing at but this is not totally confirmed at the moment. Another big thankyou to Belinda and Sam for all the help they are giving us with their management stuff etc. Hopefully some cool stuff will be happening in the not too distant future. We will also have a demo cd within the next few weeks and will also have a new drummer. Stay tuned....
24/02/02 - Quite a lot of importantish news in the kmp camp. Firstly, Christopher Stanley Shoulder is not playing drums for us anymore. We will eventually get a replacement but for the time being Ryan will be playing drums and doing vocals. If you want to play drums for us then give us a buzz. Secondly we now have management. Belinda and Sam from Paradigm Promotions(who also managed bands like Rhinoted, Pyromesh and Fluid) will be managing us, thanks alot to them. We will also have a few gigs coming up at HQ around April so stay tuned for them. Ciao for now.
2/02/02 - Okay were not playing that gig at HQ now. Apparently we'll be on one in April. Ryan, Colley and Cabba playing at a party tonight.
31/01/02 - We have another all ages gig at Headquarters Leederville on 2nd March. It will start at 3pm and we will be on around 3.45. It is most likely that Ryan won't be able to attend so we will be playing less originals and a few different covers that we can do without him. But you never know. Bye Bye
27/01/02 - We have a new site underway at http://www.kmp.netfirms.com. It is not yet completely finished but it at least looks a bit better than this peice of shit. Thanks to Steve for making it. This site will remain up as well for the time being and we will have some new pics up soon, hopefully we will eventually get around to putting some mp3s up aswell. We are supposed to be playing at a party this weekend on the 2nd, but its not really open to everyone of the public so sorry. Will tell about it later though. Bye Bye
16/01/2002 - Sorry about the site being hacked into. The problem was sorted out very quickly and we will have photos up soon to show how it was done. We played the HQ gig. Was okay, small amount of people showed up for the entire gig. Oz Rock Band Comp was okay. We played pretty good, and displayed a sneak preview of some choreography moves we have been working on. We didnt make the finals because most of the judges were complete bum suckers who do not like it when bands scream instead of sing lullaby's. Oh well you get that. No more gigs are scheduled at the moment but there will be some more soon(ish). Will try and get some more band photos up here soon aswell.
21/12/2001 - Okay that gig at HQ is confirmed. Flyers are out at places. Other bands playing are Pyromesh, Fluid, Kretin, Jonas, Rollerskates and Purrvert. Try get down there from the starting time (2pm) cause that is when the place is gonna begin to be torn down by some insane heavy music. Make sure you are checking out all of our beautiful bodies on stage because we will be making sure that we look great (as usual). It will only cost a small fee of $4 to see our stunning figures prance around on the stage so there is no excuse to miss it. No, Colley still hasnt got a haircut, so he will be looking wonderfuly handsome aswell. And you will also want to see Ryans mullet before it gets chopped off. Headquarters is in Leederville. Just get off at Leederville train station, look for the skate park from there, when you see it walk towards it and when you are there after about three minutes, enter the green building. Once you are in the building, walk directly to the front of the room and join the mosh pit. There you must jump, headbang, and take part in as much destruction as possible. This will ensure a grand time. And yes it is 'all ages'. Seeya there.
14/12/2001 - We have a gig on the 29th December at HQ in Leederville. Its all ages and i think some of the other bands include Pyromesh (hell yeah!) and Fluid and i dont know who else yet. Its not totally official so dont be suprised if it gets cancelled. In other news Ryan has just given himself a mullet and he looks super sexy. Colley's hair is getting longer everyday (believe it or not) and cabba is his usual sexy self. You may wish to come and perve at us at the next gig.
24/11/2001 - Sorry for the lack of updates, although no one reads this anyway so it doesnt really matter and I dont know why i still do this. Anyway... our Globe gig was cancelled cause TISM played there that night and it was too much screwing around or something like that. We'll have some more gigs soon definately.
31/10/2001 - Added at chat room to the site. Very much doubt anyone will use it so its pretty much there just to look good.
25/10/2001 - We played at Prendeville last night. Because they were so damn far behind schedule we only got 10minutes to play. We did alright though, as we were the first band to have people stand up and start a pit.
24/10/2001 - There is an interveiw with cabba at http://www.metalshop.com.au . click on the 'under the gun' section.
21/10/2001 - We played the Clarkson band comp and we we're fairly crap. Ryan and Shoulder couldnt make it so colley played drums, Steve Woj filled in bass and Withers and Cabba did all vocals. Dont know who won.
16/10/2001 - We're playing at a competition on Saturday. Check the gigs section for details. We would very much appreciate your support in being there if thats possible. We also may be featured on Metalshop for '20 questions'. Tell more later.
13/10/2001 - There is now a mailing list up. If you sign up on it, you will get emails whenever something good comes up. maybe. There is also a message board.
09/10/2001 - We just got shirts if you wanna buy one then speak to us or email us and tell us. $20. Go to the merch section. We are entering a competition called Clarkson Band Competition. If we get selected it will be on the 20th October. 06/10/2001 - Updated bio. We're playing at Prendeville in a couple of weeks but it's only open to people of Prendeville.
27/09/2001 - The gig at the amp/globe is now confirmed. We are playing on the globe stage from 8.35pm to 9.05pm. It is 18+ though sorry to anyone who can't go.
26/09/2001 - There is a new visitors poll up please vote. The results of the last one are there too.
19/09/2001 - We'll have merchandise soon. About a month hopefully.
13/09/2001 - We should have a new site up in a couple of weeks, a proper one, which will hopefully be good. We got some photo's up in the pics section and the layout has been changed a bit. The guestbook is being filled with bull crap please try and keep it about music, or anything else for that matter apart from giving rachael shit because she is getting quite pissed off so try do it somewhere else. We also got a bit of recording done on mini disc for the songs Time To Fly, The Great Inner Nothingness and Mind Games. They didnt turn out 100% good but we'll try and get them up here as soon as we can. That's it for now, probably no one will read this anyway.
24/08/2001 - Well we didn't make the finals for Star Search, I guess we're no match for those pussy pop bands.
23/08/2001 - We will most probably have another gig at a big show in November at Amplifier/Globe. It will be 18+ though which is a bummer.
15/08/2001 - We played Star Search and did pretty damn well but I very much doubt that we will make the finals because we are too 'heavy and scary' wah-wah. oh well thats what you get for entering competitions that have audiences full of old deaf people (And if they weren't deaf, they are now).
09/08/2001 - We got Star Search on Sunday and we better make the finals otherwise we will be pissed off. if you wanna come for some reason its at the Karrinyup community Centre sometime between 11pm and 12 and will cost you 5 bucks.
31/07/2001 - We had Stereohype on Saturday night and it went off pretty good, crowd seemed to like us heaps. Karnivool kicked arse as usual and Xygen were pretty good. Hostyle were good aswell. Actually I think there were more people there to see us and Hostyle than there were for most of the paid bands.
30/07/2001 - I (cabba) am sick today and im not going to school and i have nothing better to do than to make us a web page. I obviously have no life.
