The woman assisting Carol in this 1955 pic is her Best Friend and Matron Of Honor – “Hotch.” Hotch wasn’t able to attend the Golden Gala … And, Carol didn’t know she was getting MARRIED AGAIN … AND, Carol wasn’t going to be wearing a VEIL at the 50th Gala!!! Thus, I knew that we’d NEVER be able to “recreate” this fabulous pic from 1955.

Sooooo, I just snagged pix of Carol being PAMPERED before the Big Event!

Such as, when I took Carol to get her NAILS done on Thursday …

That’s MAYA CHILESE, of “Aalon” salon,
the wonderful woman who regularly does MY nails!

BTW: I never get my TOENAILS done! But, Carol was planning on
wearing OPEN-TOED shoes. Hence, the toenails were a MUST. LOL

GOOOO, MAYA!!!

Then, I made sure our Photographer (and long-time friend), Steve Kauble,
took loads of pix while his wife, Jana (a friend who’s done our hair for years),
worked her magic with Mum’z hair AND makeup on SATURDAY.
