Pix Taken at the
Fandamily Manse
Before The
Gala Event

HA! There were THREE reasons for me arranging this PHOTO SESSION!

The FIRST REASON:
I wanted to “re-create” a 2005-version of as many pix from Ray & Carol’s 1955 wedding album as I could.
And, there were TWO pix in the 1955 album taken of folkz on the front steps of the Miller’s Norristown
Meadowbrook Road home that included folkz who ALSO were attending the 2005 Golden Gala.
(Ray with his Best Man, Al Desimone … Ray with his parents and youngest sister, Dottie.)
So, NO! TWO PICTURES weren’t much of a “reason” to make sure that EVERYONE in the “2005 Wedding Party
dragged their buttz to the Miller Fandamily Manse after getting DRESSED for the gig – instead of simply heading
to the Event Center!
But, I did my best to make it SOUND like a 2005-photo-recreation session at the Miller Fandamily Manse
was VITAL … and that it was VITAL they ALL be therefor it!
Thankfully, by this time, I’d apparently brow-beaten everyone into AUTO-SUBMISSION!
Because, not a single person ARGUED with me about this requirement! And, they ALL showed up
ON TIME!!! (Apparently, I’m really good at brow-beating. LOL!

The SECOND REASON:
I needed a good “excuse” for the PROFESSIONAL Photographer (Steve Kauble)
being present and taking pix AT the MILLER FANDAMILY MANSE.

The THIRD – and MOST IMPORTANT – REASON:
I needed ALL the “2005 Wedding Party” folkz DRESSED and AT THE HOUSE
– and I needed the PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER AT THE HOUSE
BEFORE the SURPRIZE LIMOUSINE PULLED UP IN FRONT!!!

So! Here are the two “LEGITIMATE” re-creation Pix taken while
STALLING FOR TIME until the LIMO arrived!

1955 PIC

What the hell … As long as I’m “narrating”: Every time he sees a 2005 pic of Al, Ray whines,
“Look at all the HAIR he still has!”

Clearly, Dottie was much happier about Ray’s 50th than she was about his wedding! LOL

And, here are the OTHER Pix taken while
STALLING FOR TIME until the LIMO arrived!

Al didn’t meet his wonderful wife, Lynn,
until years after Ray & Carol’s wedding.

Circa 1965 PIC!

Clearly! Al was the “Bee’s Knees” when courting Lynn! Har.

1955 PIC
There will be plenty of “circa ‘55” pix of Elaine coming up on other pages.
But, check out PUNKY’S circa ’55 pic!!! HUBBA, HUBBA!
And, although he wasn’t AT the 1955 wedding, Punky actually KNEW Carol back then!

Still MORE PIX taken while
STALLING FOR TIME until the LIMO arrived …

(Hey! The Limo was ON TIME! But, I’d given everyone a REALLY EARLY
arrival appointment, because I expected them to be LATE in arriving.
Since they arrived ON TIME, there was TONZ o’ time to take pix! LOL)

OH!!!

I think it was while this pic was being taken that
RAY turned to CAROL and asked,
Would you marry me again?

Whereupon, I immediately thought,
DAMMIT!SOMEONE LET IT SLIP!
Ray KNOWS about the
VOW-RENEWAL CEREMONY!!!

As it happens, Ray was simply asking her –
entirely by coincidence!

Neither of them had ANY idea about the
2005 Wedding until they were brought
before Mel, the 2005 Minister!

OH, Yeah! Even though she gritted her teeth,
Carol answered, “YES”!!!

(What the HELL would I have done if she’d said NO?!)
