DAN & DEB BADEER’s BIO
FROM THE SCRIPT FOR THE GALA:

Dan and Deb Badeer first met when BOTH were Scarlet and Cream Singers at UNL. Their first major recording together was "You'll See His Face", a Cassette of Christian vocal songs completed in 1985 (back when they only had two kids!)

Since then, Deb has recorded a total of 16 years with Back To The Bible Radio Broadcast and was a background vocalist on a 2003 Mannheim Steamroller Christmas album. Dan has traveled to Carnegie Hall with Jackson and Almeda Berkey and the Omaha Cantata Choir.

Dan is a 1977 graduate of UNL and is a Financial Advisor with Macro Financial in Lincoln. After completing UNL activities, Deb has been involved in home educating all of the 8 Badeer children, choral directing, and coordinating the schedule of the Badeer family singers.

The family has performed for Bank client appreciation dinners and Holiday events, Senior dinners and nursing homes. The Badeers also enjoy singing and performing with the Berkeys at Christmas time. In addition, Dan enjoys keeping up with his classical piano, and has performed at Berkey recitals with his daughter Noelle.

The Badeers live on about 12 acres near Panama, Nebraska. With several hundred fruit trees, there's always plenty of work for the whole family!! Dan and Deb are also grandparents of a lively 3 year old grandson, who lives nearby.
