The 2005 KCRF JOLLY ROGERS PIX

I ADMIT IT!!!
I’m a RAGING Jolly Rogers FAN!!!
Give me a flippin’ BREAK, here!

I think their vocal arrangements are FAR-and-ABOVE BETTER than ANY OTHERS’ on the planet. I’ve heard OTHERS perform many of the “traditional” songz that they do – e’en at the 2005 KCRF!!! But, although talented, these OTHERS didn’t come close to the quality of the JR’s arrangements.
AND, by GAWDESS, my father is a retired University “Professor” of vocal music!
I’ve been inundated with vocal music styles from the tyme I romped about in soggy diapers,
until NOW (don’t EVEN ask me how many years that is!) – Hence,
I know my CHIT when it comes to vocal music!

YES. To be honest, I also admit to LUSTING after ONE of them!
But, that doesn’t mean my critical assessment of their musical “worth” is skewed!

Likely, I should SHUT UP now. LOL

One of the reasons my favorite KCRF “People Watching” place was in the
NEWCASTLE PUB, is that is was right across from the PIRATE STAGE …
whereupon the JOLLY ROGERS didst perform!

After one of their performances, Linda suggested that I get pix taken on the PIRATE STAGE to send to the woman who made myne NEW Brigantine Bodice. So, we popped over and asked if we could take some pix – They said, “SURE!” And, we did! (Most o’ those pix are on the “CHAS PIX” page.)

After she snapped a few pix, Linda saw a JR pirate in the vicinity
and asked him if he would pose with me for a few pix.

OH my GAWDESS! It was myne FAVORITE JR PIRATE!!!
And, he agreed to pose with me.

Otay. This JR Pirate is “Mark Mayhem!”

Mark Stahl – also known as "Mayhem" – is the Jolly Rogers' answer to the Chia Pet.
The once proud leader of the Ottoman Empire, Mark would much rather be in any group
other than the Jolly Rogers. He is currently a member of the Boy Scouts, the Girl Scouts,
AARP, NAACP, DECCA, FFA, PTA, NRA, AA, AAA, 12 fraternities, 4 sororities,
Boys' Club of America, Knights of Columbus, the Underachivers Association, the Church
of the Subgenius and the Mike Club (which he managed to join by cleverly misspelling
his name on the application form). If you have a club or organization you would like
Mark to join, forget it he's busy.
