The
2005 KCRF

MYNE BRAND NEW
BRIGANTINE BODICE
& Pirate Persona

Myne new “Brigantine Bodice” was CUSTOM MADE
by Mistress Devlyn MacKinnon
o’ the Odd Bodkin Renaissance Shop in Miamisburg, OH.
She also made the Pirate Blouse I’m wearing!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER WARES!!!

On the first day,
I wasn’t comfortable
with the amount of
CLEAVAGE exposed
by myne new bodice.

Actually, I was worried that my
nip– er … naughty bitz
might POP OUT!

So, I wore a panel
of fabric across the
bottom “V”
of the bodice front.

Teddy HATED that PANEL!
It obscured his view and caused him to SQUIRM. Which was kinda fun fer ME!
But, I hadn’t clipped his nails in a while. And – MORE IMPORTANTLY(!) –
an UNHAPPY TITMOUSE is NOT a gude thing!

Thankfully, Linda & the Newcastle Pub Mistress helped me figure out
that my bitz would stay PUT.
So, on SUNDAY, the fabric panel went in the garbage!
Clearly, this bodice is
SCRUMPTIOUS!

After seeing these pix,
however … I’ve learned
that I needs must
devise a means to keep
those blouse ties from
obscuring myne cleavage
(and Teddy) …

AND, I needs must
keep myne pouches
scooted OFF to
the SIDE!

I made the head scarf
and 3 NEW STRANDS
of HAIR BEADS
for myne
PIRATE GYPSY WENCH
costume.

Unfortunately, only the
shell and pink pearl strands
show well against my dark hair.

(The wooden bead strand
seems to get lost.
But, I’ll get over it!)


Thankfully, I ADORE myne new POUCH and Tambourine!
All I have to do is learn to keep them OFF to the SIDE.

For a
FIRST TYME
WEAR,
however, this
PIRATE GYPSY WENCH
costume
was right FYNE!

It was soooo much
COOLER
and more
COMFORTABLE
than my “normal”
Wench attire,
that I wore
myne new
Pirate Garb
on BOTH days
o’ this faire.

I’ll have the last
“adjustments” figured out
by the time the
TEXAS REN FEST
rolls around.

(The first weekend of
November, 2005 –
LINDA’s going, too!)

Then all I need to do is
come up with a better
NAME than
“Mistress Chas
the Pirate Wench”

That’s IT!!!
