This ‘twas the FIRST TYME EVAH that I stayed
OVERNIGHT to attend the KCRF!
A’fore this weekend, I’d always risen at the crack of o-dark-thirty, left home around 6 am to drive 3 hours to the faire, attended ONE DAY o’ faire, then left after “Closing Gate” ceremonies (7 pm) and drove back home to Lincoln.
In 2005, however, Linda (aka “Wickie”) and Charlie Horner (aka “Puss & Bile”) wanted to attend TWO DAYS o’ faire! So, we left Lincoln on Friday night, drove to KC and checked into an inexpensive hotel – staying overnight on Friday & Saturday so that we could attend faire on BOTH Saturday and Sunday.
’Twas TRES MARVELOUS!!!
Methinkz ‘tis how I’ll ever-hereafter attend the KCRF!!!
