Within a few minutes, Ali reached Lisa's apartment.
"Hey Ali," Lisa said. "I can't believe what happened with you and Nick."
"Did he explain to you what happened? Maybe you jumped to conclusions." Fiona suggested.
"Look guys, I really don't want to talk about it. I had a really bad incident in the elevator a few minutes ago..." Ali said sadly. She told them all about it.
"Whoa, tough break. I'm sorry Ali," AJ said.
The way he said it made Lisa giggle.
"I feel horrible about slapping him right now," Ali admitted.
"You shouldn't feel bad, he's the one who messed up." Brian said, joining in the conversation after arriving a few minutes after Ali had.
"Wait, why did you slap him?" Lianne asked, after getting some nachos from the kitchen.
"Because after he cheated on me, he acted like he loved me and then he kissed me." Ali said softly.
"Hey Ali, he wasn't acting. He really loves you, he told me so himself," Brian told her.
"Wait, I thought you loved Nick too," Loraine questioned.
"Gosh, I do. I wanted him more than anything at that moment," Ali paused, "But when he leaned in and kissed me, I just kept picturing him kissing that Mandy chick." She paused me a few seconds."Ugh, I'm so confused!" she buried her head in her hands.
Howie fed Lianne a nacho. The clock ticked loudly. Ali's cell phone rung, breaking the deafening silence.
"Hello?" Ali said in a hoarse voice.
"Hi, this is Mandy." a squeaky voice announced. "Stay after from my Nick, or else..."
"Or else what?" Ali answered back, but Mandy had already hung up.
"Who was that?" Kevin asked.
"That was Mandy, threatening to do something to me if I don't stay away from Nick," Ali explained.
Her phone rung again.
"Hello?"
"Hey, this is Mandy again," a snobby voice said quickly. "I forgot to tell you - Nick is great in bed." Then she hung up.
"Ooo that girl makes me SO mad!! If Nick really did anything more than kiss that little slut, I think I'll just die," Ali announced.
All of a sudden, Lisa's phone rung.
"Oh my god," Lisa said as she hung up. "Nick's in the hospital."
