~*~Chapter 6~*~
Three days later
Ali woke up around 11:30. She headed for Brian's apartment.
"Hey B-Rok." Ali said as Brian greeted Ali at the door.
"Hey Ali. What do ya wanna do today?"
"How about we just take a little walk in the park?" Ali asked.
"Sure, whatever you want to do." Brian agreed.
They rode the elevator down to the street level and started walking to the park.
"Did you talk to Nick recently?" Ali asked sadly.
"Yes. He said you didn't give him time to explain anything, you just ran out crying..." Brian said.
"Well can you blame me? He kissed another girl!" Ali cried.
"Do you hear something?" Brian asked.
"Yeah.."
"Wait. It's my cell phone," Brian said while turning on his phone.
"Hello?"
"Hi Bri, what's up?"
"Oh not much AJ."
"Hey, you doing anything today?" AJ asked.
"Well actually, Ali and I are hangin out in the park.."
"Hanging out with Ali again, Brian? Are you guys going out or somethin'?! You've been hanging out together a lot lately!" AJ paused and laughed. "Lisa says you guys would make a cute couple."
"No, we're not going out. We just enjoy each other's company, that's all." Brian explained.
"Yo, I heard about the whole Leighanne thing. Tough break, man. Anyway, could Lisa and I hang out with you guys in the park?"
"I guess."
"Ok, see ya soon then! Lisa's gonna teach me to rollerblade!" AJ answered.
"YOU rollerblading? Haha, this I GOTTA SEE!!!"
"Haha, very funny. Bye Bri."
"Bye AJ."
Brian put away his cell phone. "Sorry about that Ali. AJ talks so much! He just goes on and --" Brian was interrupted. He reached into his pocket.
"It's the phone again."
Ali nodded.
"Hello?"
"Yo, Frick, you better stay away from her! I'm warning you!"
"Ooo I'm so scared of big bad Frack! What are you gonna do if I decide to be with her?"
"I'll, I'll....well just let me think what I'll do!" He paused. "Just quit moving in on my girl if you know what's good for you!" Nick hung up. So did Brian.
"Who was that?" Ali questioned.
"Nick. Threatening to do something to me if I don't stay away from you - being an asshole basically."
They walked toward the fountain, and gasped what they saw in front of them.
