I do....

Chapter 5

*Nat*

It was a few weeks later, my dad and Jodie were now with us. Me and Nick both just moved into my room, acting like we never did that but oh well. We were going to go out to dinner that day, with all of our parents, and lucky me I get to have two sets. Fells kind of strange but I’m used to it.

I was putting on my dress and Nick was just coming out of the shower. He picked me up and threw me on the bed.

“Hey!” I said.

“Hey yourself.” He said looking at himself in the mirror.

“So what’s with you?” I asked him.

“Nothing, we just have company.”

“Yeah, that never happened before no.”

“Ha ha.” He said.

“Well, I would love to stay, but I’m going to go and wait for you to hurry up so we can go. Alright?”

“Yeah, yeah.” He said as I left.

~~~ At the Restaurant.
Nick and I sat there, bored. Our parents were talking and discussing different things. I swear my parents can talk and talk about anything. Luckily today, they weren’t fighting or else I would just get up and leave.
Later, after we ate, Nick dragged me out to dance. We were bored, and we had to do something. As we danced, we of course talked.
“So, are you having fun?” I asked Nick.
“No, well now I am.” He said.
“Funny. So what do you think there talking about?” I asked him looking over at our table.
“I don’t know, and all I want to do is go home and sleep.” He said smiling.
“Awe, you can do that anytime.”
“Yeah, I can. Let’s get off this floor, before I fall asleep.” Nick said taking my hand and taking us back.
We sat down, my mom looked at us. “Nat, we have something to tell you.” She said.
“What?” I asked.
“We all decided that you and Nick, should spend some time away from each other.”
“What are you talking about? It’s not like we’re not happy.” Nick said.
“Well, we want you to take a little vacation away from each other. Just for a week, and then we will see if you really are.” My mom said.
“Mom, it’s not like we aren’t getting married because we hate each other, this was something...”
“No more, you both are going. Now, let’s get you both home and then you can pack, Natalie, your going on a cruise and Nick, you going away to Hawaii for a week, no contact with each other.” My dad put it.
“But...” I started to say as my father got up and we walked out.
The car ride home was silent, but when we got home, and Nick and I were in my room together, in bed. We started to talk.
“Nick, this is a very bad idea.”
“Why?” He asked.
“I mean, I don’t want this. Do you?” He seemed like he did.
“No, not at all. Maybe they just want to see if it is for sure. We can prove them that.” He said smiling.
“I guess your right.” I said as he gave me a kiss on the lips and we fell asleep.
