The next morning the alarm went off. It woke up Nick, who turned it off and then he yawned really loud.
“Nat wake up.”
Nat turned around. “Could you yawn any louder?”
“Not now Natalie.”
“Why did you wake me up?”
“Cause your dumb alarm went off.”
“It did? Strange I didn’t hear it.”
“Cause you went under the covers.”
“So? I’ve heard it before.”
“So?”
“I guess it was you and the...”
“Okay, I heard enough!” He said and started to tickle her.
“Come on Nick... Stop... please...Nick...I...... Hate....to....be....tickled!”
“Then don’t call me fat! You know I hate that.”
“Okay, Okay.”
“Promise?”
“Yeah, I promise. Now let me go.”
“What will you do to keep your promise?”
“I don’t know.”
“Well I’m not get off until you think of something.”
“Well, what do you want?”
“I want hmm... this.”
He got off of her and pulled her close and started to kiss her.
“You like?” Nat said.
“Yeah I like.”
“Good.”
“So what were you thinking about last night?”
“About us.”
“What about us?”
“Well Nick I mean we’ve grown together a lot now and well what about...” Nick cut her off.
“Ashley?”
“Yeah.”
“I’m going to well, take care of her.”
“Like how?”
"Trust me. I mean do you want us to be together?”
“Yeah sort of. It’s not like were not.”
“Yeah true.”
“Do you want it?”
“Want what?”
“Don’t play games Nick. You know what I mean.”
“Yeah I do.”
“Truly?”
“Yeah, don’t worry I’m going to do it. Trust me she hates us doing these things.”
“Sure.”
“Come on and smile.”
“I am I’m just confused right now.”
“Don’t be we’re going to work itout soon.”
“You sure?’ Nat said turning off of him and pushing his hair away from his eyes.
“Yeah, let me tell you something about me and you.” Nick said putting her back on him.
