Chapter 11
"So where did you say you would meet her?" Brian asked as we waited in the car
"I don't know, all she said was to meet her here." I said.
"Well, I don't know about you guys, but I want some food. You coming, D?" AJ asked.
"We might as well all go," I said and joined the four of them. As we waited in line, I kept looking out in the parking lot, waiting and looking for her. Every girl that I saw, I jumped, thinking it was her. I was paranoid. Very paranoid. About five minutes, later, I finally saw her.
"Guys, I'll be right back," I told them and ran into the parking lot with my arms outstretched for her.
"Caitlin!" I screamed and she turned around. She ran right into my arms.
"I missed you so much!" she exclaimed. I kissed her ever so lightly, with her chin cupped in my hands.
"Hey! Look who's here!" Brian exclaimed as he and the rest of the guys joined us in the parking lot. Caitlin had gotten very close to the rest of the guys. Brian treated her like a sister.
"Hey, Brian!" she called, and gave them all hugs. She came back to my side and placed her hand in mine.
"When are you leaving to go back home?" I asked when we were in the bus on the way back to the hotel.
"Same flight as you."
"So, you will be here with me for three whole days?" I asked.
"Yup!" she responded and gave me a kiss.
~~~~~~~
"Nick! C'mon! Get up!" I heard a girls voice say. My heart began to race thinking that it was a psycho fan that snuck into my room during the night. I opened my eyes and saw that it was Caitlin.
"How did you get in here?" I asked while stretching.
"Brian let me in. Come on! Get up! I wanna see some of Europe before I leave," Caitlin said as she opened the curtains in the room.
"Ok, ok. Let me take a quick shower first, ok?" I asked and wrapped my arms around her waist.
"Fast, ok?"
"You betcha," I said, and kissed her. I walked into the bathroom and slid off my boxers and T-shirt and took the fastest shower in the history of showers. I didn't even bother to do anything with my hair, so I just put it in a hat.
"You ready?" I asked when I came out of the bathroom, fully dressed.
"You betcha!" Caitlin said, repeating the words I had said earlier.
"So how do you like it?" I asked Caitlin as we strolled down the busy streets of Germany.
"Oh, I love it! I don't know why you complain about it so much in your letters! This is magnificent!" Caitlin exclaimed.
"Not when you are looking at it through a hotel window." I remarked and kissed her cheek.
"Nick, look at these!" She said as we passed by some wild flowers being sold by a man named Erik on a street corner.
"They're nice," I said.
"They're gorgeous!" she corrected me. She picked up the tag. "How do you say this?" she asked me. I took the flower out of her hand and read the tag that she was reading.
"I'm not even going to try to say that!" I said, which enrolled into a fit of laughter. "Are you going to get them?" I asked when we were through laughing.
"No, I left my money in the hotel room," Caitlin said and put the flowers back.
"You should get them, they only grow here, in Germany," Erik said in an accent, trying to make sale.
"He's right, Caitlin." I reached into my pocket for my wallet and pulled out some German currency and paid the man.
"Nick, thank you," she whispered and kissed me.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"So, what shall we call this flower?" she asked me while we ate. I thought for a minute.
"How about ' The Whatchamacallit Flower' ?" I suggested.
"The WHAT?" she asked.
"The Whatchamacallit Flower," I repeated, and handed it to her. Caitlin looked at the flowers beauty and nodded.
"Works for me!" she declared.

"You guys are finally back! I was worried sick!" Brian exclaimed in a high pitched mother's voice when we got back late that night. We laughed.
"Sorry, Bri." I said. We chatted for a little while until I noticed that Caitlin was practically asleep. I tapped her lightly on the arm.
"C'mon," I said and led her toward my room.
"No, Nick. You sleep here, I'll sleep on the couch," she said.
"No, I'll sleep on the couch," I said as I slid her into my bed.
"Goodnight, Nick." she said.
"Goodnight, Caitlin. I love you," I said, just before her eyes closed.

Three days later, Caitlin and I were standing at the airport, waiting for the plane that would take us to Tampa. Brian and the rest of the guys had joined us, so it was an emotional reunion, even though I would see them again in a few days. Caitlin had her flower in her hand the whole plain ride.
