Stardate 52036.2 As Beeg got in the runabout Validate, he noticed that the cargo had not been stowed correctly. In a hurry he set the auto pilot and went to the cargo hold and put his possessions in a forcefield so that if anything happened, the ship would not be destroyed because of his weapons collection. Beeg got back in the cockpit, and moaned to himself about the lack of action that he has seen lately since the transporter accident. He still wishes that the doctors had been able to replicate his arm and legs that were lost because of degraded transporter signal. He now had metallic limbs which are totally experimental and are not yet perfected. Though they are near indestructible they can not be exposed to plasma. Though he was wondering what this new Captain was going to be like and the fact he was hoping to be promoted to Chief of Security now that he had received a battle field promotion. It was never official since the ship was destroyed, and the rest of the commissioned crew were lost. Beeg neared the Equinox and hailed a message. Oblokoni'Slyt Enoz answered the hail since it was during her watch. Beeg requested permission to dock his ship. Enoz granted permission and paged Cynthia Calea, the security officer on duty at that hour, to "welcome her new officer aboard". Calea had to be sure cargo passed inspection since the scan showed some robotic signal and a radiation type that they could not define. Though it could be nothing, because of the war and past events in the sector no need to take chances. Cynthia greeted Beeg at the airlock and asked to see what was throwing the scanners off. Beeg obliged by showing the weapons case that had a small malfunctioning disrupter that was supposed to have been destroyed, and said that his implants are new robotic technology in order to save him from being in an artificial life support. Beeg requested to go settle in and then to make sure his collection was locked in the armory. Beeg took out a few things from the hovering vault of antique and otherwise unique weapons. One is a bat'telh that belonged to Kang back when the Klingons were battling the Federation. He has a human antique that he treasures very much because it belonged to a human hero Rob Roy, a leader of a clan based society in the humans middle ages. He took the sword and bat'telh and some little blinking device and a small bag and demanded "where are my quarters I need to sleep so that in five hours I can meet the Captain and get my briefing at o-seven hundred hours . . . also the rest of this is for the repairs on the ship and other supplies so we can get under way." Wandering down the corridor Beeg entered his quarters and sighed, "time to unpack again." Why did Mason want a security officer that was so small, Beeg wondered. What good could she be except in the Jefferies Tubes. Well I need sleep so let’s see, I’ll put the sword over here and my bat'telh on this rack here. Tomorrow maybe I will do some sims to stay in shape. Well here is home. Maybe later I’ll find out what Mason chose Cynthia for. Then the lights went down to sleep mode.
