i see before me
i see before me, i see before me, i see before me, i see before me, i see before me, ~me~
as the moon casts his reflection on my melancholy soul,
a man, so righteous and pure.
yet, his discomfort makes for this gloomy disposition.
weeping hearts and nail-pierced lives.
a sea of faces,
so dark and dismal, as if all hope was gone.
a man looking up, staring into my very being.
he knows me like no other.
although i've not met him, my future depends on his life.
as the sun shows her radiant face over the horizon,
the shadow of a cross,
on which the man determined my destiny.
a river of blood,
shed for me,
that i might live eternally.
