My daughter-in-law, Marie, left this world of ours on June 18th -99.
A great loss was felt by all....but none so much as with my son. He lost his wife, his lover, his companion, but most of all...his best friend.
Below is my small tribute to a special lady.
Marie was born on June 21st -73. She was a lady full of spunk and fire. Born to parents who call her a miracle child for it was not till they were in their 40's that they were blessed with her, and so was the rest of the world. Marie was very outgoing and a real people pleaser. She never failed to put a smile on someones face.On June 12th-99, Marie took a fall down just a couple of stairs. She suffered a head injury that later turned out to be fatal. She was taken from us on June 17th, but held on with machines till the 18th so that her organs could be harvested for donation...this was something that she wanted, for she was that kind of lady.It is a comfort to know that small parts of her live on in others.
Marie was laid to rest on June 22-99, a day after her birthday when she would have turned 26.
The heavens have a new angel now.
Marie's and my sons wedding invation...they were so cute the two of them as children!
They were such a happy couple.
