Once upon a time, there was a very popular band called the Backstreet Boys. It consisted of 5 guys called, Kevin, Howie, Aj, Brian and Nick. Nick was the youngest at 18 and also most of the girls favourite. The others didn't have a problem with this, but another group N-sync did!!Especially one guy called Lance who looked very similar to Nick(or used to!!) but was pushed into the background by him. The two groups were also touring together which Lance hated. Nick wasn't too pleased either but he covered his feelings well.
As it happened BJ and her friend Alexis were travelling with the band as it was during their Summer break. They had been friends for 4 years and as a result Alexis knew Nick very well too. But only BJ knew that Lex really liked Nick. And only BJ knew that Nick really liked Lex too!!
However, both Nick and Lex wouldn't say anything to each other, despite how obvious it was becoming while on the tour. They would spend a lot of time together, so much, that they had even picked up some of each other's bad habits. Yet they were simply too shy to talk of love.
Unknown to both of them, Lance liked Lex too, but knew he didn't stand a chance while Nick was around. So he hatched an evil plan.
That night, while Nick was performing 'Heaven in your Eyes', a huge cutain swung forward and knocked him off the stage, into the waiting arms of some other members on 'N Sync. They bundled him up, threw him in a van, and drove far away before dumping him by a road. By the time he struggled out of his cocoon, the van was long gone.
'Damn' he muttered as he started to wander up and downthe side of the road. 'Now what do I do?'
He reached into his pocket to find his cell phone. It wasn't there. Then he remembered he was in his stage clothes and therefore didn't have it.
'Great!' he reeled off a few more unprintable words. (Author's note: Hey itz supposed to be a fairytale. And the characters don't swear unless YOU make them.)
After a few minutes deliberation, he began walking. No-one passed him, and it started to get hotter and hotter. Eventually,it got too much, and he passed out on the road. A few moments later, a horse drawn cart appeared, with 2 men in it.
'Another dead 'un Bob' one yelled, seeing Nick.
'Sling 'im in the back Dave' Bob replied.
Dave leapt down and picked up Nick, before throwing him in the cart. Then they trundled off.
A couple of hours later, Nick sat up groggily. He looked around.
'Where am I?' he pondered. Then suddenly he recognised his surroundings. 'I'm in New Jersey! Where I was before!' (Author's note: what a coincidence he should be taken THERE, of all places. hehe)
Quietly he slipped out of the cart and walked along the pavement looking for the others. After 1/2 an hour, he got tired and hungrey, so went into a nearby McDonalds.
He stopped dead and rubbed his eyes. 'Brian?!'he yelled.
His best friend stiid up. 'Nick? Man, what happened?'
Nick walked over and joined the rest of the band who were there with BJ, Lex and N'Sync. He then filled them in on what he knew had happened.
'So you don't know who pushed you off the stage?' Lex asked
'Uh-uh. And Lex, while i was gone,i realised ilove you. Will you be my girlfriend?'
She smiled. 'Yeah i will'. then she leaned over to kiss him.
'You fools!!' Lance cried leaping up. 'It was me! i got rid of you Nick, so i could have Lex. It didn't work, but i won't fail now. this potion will turn you into a speck of dust.' he yelled. Then he threw himself and the potion at Nick. He doged, and the potion landed on the floor, with Lance falling into it.With a poof, he disappeared.
With Lance gone forever, Nick and Lex went out for ages and ages, and were very happy. Unfortunately, unlike fairy tales, it didn't last and they had a huge argument and never spoke again, leaving him free to take part in lots of other fan fictions.
