Hi, my name is Trudy and I am a school bus driver in Swansboro, North Carolina. Swansboro is a very small town on the southeast coast of N.C. but believe me, there is enough kids here to take up 5 schools in this small section of Onslow County. I am doing this page for not only myself but for the bus driver's here in Swansboro. We have alot of nice drivers who I feel never get the attention they deserve. Alot of people think a bus driver's job is not an important one, but if you could just put yourselves in our seat one day. Maybe you would understand our job a little bit better. We not only have the lives of your children to worry about...but also all those drivers on the road who could care less about flying past our stop arms. So see alot of stress comes along with being a bus driver! So next time you see your kids driver,tell them how much you appreciate them. I bet you will get a BIG thank you from them.
