The Global Youth Peace Representatives
Our Great History:
The Global Youth Peace Representative Organization was founded in 2025 to allow young people between the ages of 15-25 to learn about world politics and government. The first meeting of the GYPR was held in a Paris civic building basement. The 'new' summit building was completed in 2043 to house the nearly one thousand Youth Reps.,their advisers and summit staff. In 2045, the GYPR uniform was inaugurated, before this the Reps. identified one another by armbands and security tags.
A Great Mission for Tomorrow
"The GYPR Organization is also considered a gateway or training program for the NAE Senate." Each nation member of the NAE is allowed one Youth Representative who is elected to two year terms and may be elected up to three times. The Youth Representatives are elected by the vote of youth ages 10-25 and the governing body of that nation. 2/3 of the voting power is held by the youth. The GYPR's are required to be fluent in Latin, since this is the language spoken in the Youth Summit. They are also encouraged to know English, the language spoken in the NAE Senate. Youth Representatives are assigned a common name that is used to identify them in Summit situations. Also a uniform is worn which identifies region from which the Representative is from. The Reps. are further assigned to cluster groups of four or five by letter, A group, B group, etc. Mixing with others is highly encouraged, Youth Representatives are allowed and advisory council of up to three that can stay on the NAE base and attend Youth Summit although they have no voting power. The council also must be between the ages of 15-25, no uniform is required. The council members wear the GYPR/NAE insignia and carry identification.
