ANOKI Vs. SIRIN

"Hello,"says Anoki to the young woman behind the desk,"is Chase ready to go?" The young woman looks up to Anoki and smiles ,"I'm affraid that she was already picked up by Ezel!" Anoki gets a perplexed look across his face,"You must be mistaken, Ezel is in Athens with our Gaurdians and Epic?" The young woman looks to the commputerized check out terminal. "Ezel signed her out at 12:14pm, it's right here Anoki, I saw her leave with Chase," says the desk clerk turning the screen to Anoki. He bends over to look at he screen and his voice drops,"That isn't Ezekiel's signature...and that wasn't Ezel who left with my baby sister madame!!", says Anoki distantly. Anoki runs out to a TV Phone and calls the Paris Police with his special Ambassatorial debit card. "Someone posing as Ezekiel has kidnapped my little sister Chasity-Nori Key from the N.A.E. daycare center over an hour and a half ago!!...(police response) She is only Four years-old..(response)...I know Ezel didn't sign her out, I know what her signature looks like and that she is in Athens with the Gaurdians and Epic right now!!!" "Well who would pose as Ezel...", asks cop. Anoki has a realization and wanders away from the phone, grabing his card and going to his vehicle and

speeding off to the place he was supposed to meet Crystal, Polo, and Equinox. Union and Fire also felt up to the challenge of horseback rding while Tempo, Rhythm and Utopia decided to go home and do other things. Anoki bursts out of the vehicle and charges up to the stables. "Does anyone know where Chase is, is this some joke at my expense?!!, spews Anoki in a dispret voice. The others look to him from atop and aside there horses. "No!?", says Fire looking from the others. "I thought she was at the day care center?", says Equinox very confused. Anoki grunts,"She was until a 'Uncanny' look-a-like for Ezel signed her out about two hours ago." Union looks to Anoki with an upset look in her eyes,"Who could have done that? a person in disquise...or a person with the ability of Illusion like myself?" "I Don't Know for sure", says Anoki very distant in his thoughts.

The nine PeaceKeepers and the Paris police with N.A.E. help start searching the city through the night. Mr. and Mrs. Key are told of their daughters disapperance and they immediately fly back with Ezel and Epic.The search continues for another day until a message comes in by computer that a nameless person is holding Chasity-Nori Key and will kill the child in eight hours to break the wills of the N.A.E. and especially the PeaceKeepers as well as her parents. The message is untracable.

In a quit apartment in down town Paris, Sirin, a small East Indian girl with a heart of fire and fellow SCAR member Chasm are holding little Chase captive in a dark , sound proof room. She is bound and terrified, of the engulfing blackness that surrounds her. In the living room of the dim and mostly unfurnished room Chasm is content on killing the little girl as revenge on Crystal and others. Sirin is more pleased by the power given to her in holding the child captive while the peacekeepers look frantically for her. Chasm turns to Sirin with a wide grin on her face,"it's been two days and the whole lot of police in this city and 'Genius' of eleven PeaceKeepers still have not found us." "Not yet Chasm, they still have time to do so,"replies Sirin. Chasm gets frustrated and says she needs to go out for fresh air and takes off for a walk.

Anoki and Rhythm walk as a team up this block of the city posting fliers and asking people if they have seen Chase. They meet a young boy with his mother and and if they have seen Chase. The boy, about 6 years old says," Yes, she was with a dark, pretty lady in orange!" looking up to Anoki. Rhythm asks him where they went and how long ago. "They went into my building two days ago, upstairs!", says the little boy pointing behind him to his thirty story apartment complex. The mother bends over to face her son, "Louis, are you sure, these young people are looking for a missing little girl and if you are mistaken or lying..." "I'm not lying mommy, I saw them..they were holding hands, lady and little girl. The little girl waved high to me!" Anoki looks at the boy, and devises that he is telling the truth and him and Rhythm thank the boy and his mother and walk up to the builing to start looking for Chase inside. "It is atleast a tip, huh! Anoki?", says Rhythm. "I hope it turns up Chase....I'll take the odd floors, you knock on the doors of the even floors", commands Anoki. "Sure" They knock on over half the doors in the building and ask residents if they have seen Chase, they all say no. While on the eleventh floor Anoki knocks on the door of apartment 11-D, Sirin comes to the door disquised as an old woman. Anoki asks her if she has seen Chase and she replies no. At the same time a old blind man comes down the hall, lead by his sight dog which starts barking at the old Woman. Anoki turns to the dog and senses the dogs perception. The old woman isn't an old woman. Anoki turns to the old woman and commands that she open the door, she refuses and tries to shut it. Anoki pushes his way in and the old woman gets a sour look on her face,"Why do you young people have to be so forceful with an old woman, I am calling the police on you!" "Call them on yourself, you're not an old woman. You are the person who stole my sister, and I want her back!!" The old woman steps back and changes her illusion to make herself look like Crystal,"You don't REALLY KNOW WHAT I AM, ANOKI!! I can be ANYBODY I PLEASE!!" Sirin changes shape again to look like Pro. Locklear, "Sucks, don't it!!?" Anoki becomes severly agitated and slams the door shut," No more game playing, I know WHO YOU ARE,AND I WANT MY LITTLE SISTER BACK!!" yells Anoki. Sirin yet again changes her apperance, this time to look like little Chasity Key and speaks to Anoki in the little girls voice,"Do you mean me Anoki?" Anoki gets hostile and shoves Sirin against the wall behind her, breaking her concentration and revealing her true form. "They call me Sirin," says the small 5'2" girl looking up to Anoki with her void-like black eyes. "I have your sister, but you'll have to deal with me first Anoki!" Sirin pushes Anoki off of her and back then begins her attack on him. Anoki quickly defends himself, and continues to block blows for several minutes. The whole while Sirin taunts him for not fighting back. "I won't fight, that is what you want!" Rhythm is on the floor below and hears all the pounding of the brawl above and goes upstairs to investigate. Rhythm burts through the door just as Anoki is throwing Sirin to the floor with a simple Judo move, and pins her. Rhythm immediately realizes what must have happened and pulls the radio out of her side sachel and calls over it that they have caught the suspect and are hoolding her. Rhythm takes over control of the very angry Sirin and Anoki goes into the back looking for Chase, still locked in the back room. Anoki look at the locked door and steps back and rushes it, breaking it half open. He rips it open the rest of the way and reveals light on Chase huddled up into a little ball in the corner of the windowless room. Chase is startled and looks over with eyes hurting from the flood of light through the door. Chase gets up and runs to her big brother. he lifts her up and carries her in his arms. She cries with her face buried in his neck. He walks back with her into the main room, Rhythm looks to them. "Good, she's okay! The others and the police will be here soon." Rhythm speaks into the radio again, " Anoki has Chase, She is alright!!" Outside Chasm is just coming back from her long walk and spots Polo and Tempo coming around the opposite corner on bicycles. Chasm abandons Sirin and enters the nearest shop to hide out until things settle down. LATER: All of the peacekeepers and many Paris Police cars are on the scene. Sirin is taken into custody and Chase is checked out healthy with parimedics so her family takes her home. She can answer any queations later the police say. Sirin is held without bond and refuses to speak or answer questions. She remains captive for three days before three intruders,(believed to be Chasm, Aeon, and Rapt) break her out. They broke through the security codes and over took five armed guards.
