Homosexuality Around the World

The purpose of this program is to bring together international students and students who are part
of a gay/straight alliance and to have a dialogue about the acceptance and prevalence of homosexuality
around the world. International students will share their knowledge of their home land and gain a greater
awareness of American feelings on homosexuality. The members of the group will learn more about foreign
cultures and have a greater understanding of world politics.

The process of the program is to supply the international students with a questionaire, such as the following,
in advance and have them think ahead of time how they want to answer them. Once at the forum, the facillitator will
ask the group of international students a question that they have already been exposed to. They will then respond
and ellaborate if possible. Then, others will have a chance to further the discussion or ask further questions of the guest
speakers. Then, the same question can be directed at another guest, or the facillitator may choose to go onto the next
question. Order is not important. The program is designed to take 45 minutes.
