RLD's first visit to the Jam was a huge success! Suzanna Mallow and Andrea Jones rocked the house (backyard!) with songs from their second CD - "4 Bowls of Colour." And, as it that wasn't enough, we were all surprised when Melanie Sparks dropped in and played along with the RLD girls on a few numbers. Be sure to visit the Red Letter Day site to hear clips and buy cool stuff. Also, stop by and see Melanie Sparks to hear more clips and buy more stuff! Thanks, Red Letter Day and Melanie Sparks!

kidsister's latest release               kid sister

kid sister's debut at the Jam was also a hit! Ruth & Piper's eclectic acoustic style wowed jamgoers as they performed tunes from their second CD, "dashboard buddha." You can get your own copy at Ladyslipper Music or kid sister's site. Keep jammin, kid sister!

Kathy with a               Kathy with a "K"

Kathy with a "K" made her mark in eastern NC as a singer/songwriter to remember. The original pieces she performed have been heard at SC Gay & Lesbian Pride Movements for the past 8 years and we were glad to finally meet her. Check out Kathy's first CD, aptly named "Kathy with a K." Thanks for coming, Kathy!

                MONTY G

As usual, Monty's performance at Jam '98 was a great success. Particularly super was his rendition of Hootie's "Let Her Cry." We look forward to seeing Monty at future Jams. Great job, Monty G!

                Norman VanHorn

Norman entertained the crowd with his unique brand of new age, jazzy music. Norman composes his own music and captivated the Jam audience with his creative use of the synthesizer. We hope to have Norman back at future Jams. Good luck on your first CD, Norman!
