We quietly made our way to the large fenced in area. "I don't see anything." Nick said impatiently.

"There!" I pointed, "Shadow!" I yelled.

Shadow heard my call and bounded over to us. Through the fence she meowed.

"Hey girl." I said, sticking my hand through the holes in the fence.

"We can bring her out for you." One of the attendants to the zoo said.

"That'd be great." I said as Nick, the others and I followed her.

When they brought Shadow out of the cage she ran over and jumped up on all of us. She sniffed everyone and licked our faces. She stopped at Nick and seemed to look for Cloud.

"He's gone girl." The eighteen-year old said, then patted her head.

I remembered back to when Nick had buried Cloud. It was out on Nick's favorite island. He went out with the body and came back alone.

Shadow nudged Nick's shoulder and he laughed.

After we had gotten back it was really hectic for a while, but now things were beginning to calm down. We were all out of the hospital and trying to get on with our lives. Although we all are different, almost completely different people we were trying to get back into our old lives.

AJ had taken up woodworking. Howie kept his house totally cold, like he couldn't stand the heat anymore. I had actually eaten deer meat and usually had it for every meal. Kevin set up a tent in his back yard because he couldn't stand sleeping inside. Nick wouldn't get into a vehicle; he had completely sworn them off. It was going to be tough when we started touring again, but we'd get around that.

I think that's about all you should know. Hmm…hey…I know what I can do now…I'm gonna put all of this into a book! Good idea?
