Adam Lee Rosol's Believe it or not, Adam's 11th month wasn't the biggest news event this month. We watched the year change from 1999 to 2000, thankfully without the disruption or terrorist events predicted for Y2K. In our little world, Adam experienced his first snowfall, we visited his Aunt Andrea and Uncle Paul, and he's doing some cruising (walking while holding onto an object for support). We also visited the doctor for his 10 month check up, and the little guy weighed 26 pounds 8 ounces, and measured 31 inches long with a head diameter of 45.1 cm. Of course, many of the pictures this month deal with his first Christmas. Here's some pictures of him during his eleventh month " What is this white stuff falling from the sky? " On Christmas Eve, we had the first snowstorm of Adam's life. It didn't stick, but some big flakes fell. We just HAD to take him out on the deck to see these. He wasn't really interested, though. " Hmmmm. Pretty neat. Tell me more about this Santa guy who filled these stockings last night. " Christmas was a little more than Adam could really understand at his age. Here, he's checking out the contents of the stockings that Santa left by the fireplace. " OK, cool gift, now what other loot is mine? " As usual, Adam kind of likes to help tear into the wrapping paper for gifts. " I guess the other gifts were OK, but this pile of wrapping paper is exactly what I wanted. " We took all of the wrapping paper, put it in a big pile, and let Adam loose. Nothing is more fun than a crinkly, noisy, and fun place to hide for our little crawler. " Now this is what I call fun!" This is another picture of Adam with his favorite part of Christmas, the debris. " Daddy, are you sure this is what my new dump truck is used for? " This picture was taken on New Years Day, 1/1/00. Here's Adam and his daddy playing with a christmas toy.
