Adam Lee Rosol's The big news this month was Adam's first trip to the emergency room. He was bouncing on the couch, when he missed the couch, and hit the end table instead. Big ouch. It took 5 stitches to close the wound, and it was pretty traumatic for him and us. Grandma and Grandpa Schwartz came for a visit, he attended a balloon glow, and his friend Connor came over to play one Saturday. Other than the stitches, not too bad a month. Here's some pictures of him during his 18th month
" Howdy Pilgrim! You weren't thinking about rustling my cattle, were you?" His daycare center brought in a pony for pictures, and here Adam is doing his best John Wayne imitation.
" You guys are some swinging grandparents, I need to say." Grandma and Grandpa Schwartz hang out on the back swing for a while.
" Ouchie!" As we said, Adam had his first trip to the emergency room this month. Here's the aftermath, some nasty stitches right between the eyes. He took it pretty well, all things considered.
" I'm ok, really, I am. It only hurts when I lay on the couch and giggle. " Another view of his injury. He was bouncing on the couch again, I guess he didn't learn his lesson.
" Hmmm! Maybe I could get one to fly me to OZ! " We took Adam to a "balloon glow" where the ballons lit up with their fire just after sunset. He liked it, especially the many fountains at the park, the food, and the music.
" I'll rub noses with this guy, and act all cute. Maybe I'll get a ride out of it." The one aeronaut was pretty nice to Adam. He really chewed out a lady who was smoking near his fuel supply, though.
" I love butterflys! " Adam has shown some interest in playing with the butterflys attracted to neighbor Dave's butterfly bushes. He just points and giggles when he sees them.
" Say uncle!" Adam loves to wrestle with mommy or daddy, and tickle battles are his favorite way to pass an evening.
" You'd say uncle if I hit you with my golf club!" Unfortunately, Adam has discovered golf clubs are great for clubbing mom and dad. We're trying to break him of this bad habit.
