Adam Lee Rosol's Not a very busy month, the biggest event was that Adam started his speech therapy with Miss Shannon at the Carolina Speech and Hearing Center. He goes twice a week, and it's really starting to help him. He has a vocabulary of a little more than 50 words right now. He also attended Spencer's (next door neighbor) first birthday party. Here's some pictures of him during his 26th month " I love sprinklers!" You can tell it's March in the Carolina's, it's already hot, and our yard looks really lush. Come July, it will be all burned out, but for now, it looks good, and Adam just loves playing in the sprinklers! " I'm gonna get it this time, daddy." Here, Len is helping Adam by showing him when it's "safe" to put your foot into the spray. " Sputter, sputter. Run Away! Run Away!" Adam didn't learn, and took a blast in the face, causing a full retreat. " Happy Birthday, Spencer. I'll help you eat that cake! " It's neighbor Spencer's first birthday, and Adam looks very happy as they sing to Spencer. " Hey, I think her piece of cake is bigger than mine" Having fun with the birthday boy and a friend. " Oh Oh, the birthday boy is crying. I better shovel down this cake before the party ends. " Adam liked the cake, unfortunately Spencer was starting to get tired. " Speech therapy is a lot like playing. I like it! " This picture was taken from behind 1-Way glass in an observation room. Miss Shannon helps Adam say words and express concepts. " Mulching can be fun!" Another rite of spring in North Carolina, replacing your mulch. Here, Adam is helping daddy dig up the mulch from the front shrubbery bed. " I can pick up those fuzzy balls with these tongs, I know I can!" For national week of the small child, our daycare took part in a fair in Discovery Place. Here, at one booth, Adam gets to practice his small motor control skills by picking up fuzzy balls with tongs. " Do you like my hat?" After the festival, we're resting by a fountain in a small city park. Adam is wearing a balloon hat they made for him at the festival.
