Adam Lee Rosol's We took two trips this month, one back up north for Thanksgiving, the other to Myrtle Beach in early December. Adam is now a whopping 44 pounds in shoes! Here's some pictures of him during his 34th month
" Merry Christmas, Y'all!" We got our picture taken for Christmas cards. We'll add a page with all the pictures soon.
" I'm so good at helping daddy!" We decided not to cut our own tree this year, mainly due to lack of time around the holidays. So we bought this one from Lowes, and Adam and Daddy decorated it nicely.
" Is that the lady we saw underwater? I think it is." We went to Myrtle Beach the weekend of 12/8. The temperature was in the high 70's, it was beautiful and sunny, and we stayed at a nice resort. Here, Adam is in Ripley's aquarium, which he loved, waiting for a chance to pet a stingray. In Ripleys, they have a huge shark tank where you walk through glass tunnels in the middle of it, surrounded by sharks and other fish. He was a little scared when the sharks were swimming overhead, I don't think he knew just how big sharks really were.
" I feel it! I feel it! " The diver, Stephanie, was very nice to Adam and helped him to pet several different rays. Mommy got excited when she got to pet a bonnethead shark (looks like a hammerhead, only much smaller)
" I love the kiddie pool" The resort we stayed at was called "Camelot by the Sea". It's supposedly a middle ages theme, but other than a few fake looking suits of armor, I have no idea why. But, it was a great resort for families. It's oceanfront, and you can drive up to your floor inside the building (we were on the 7th floor). There were 3 outdoor pools, and 3 indoor pools, including a kiddie pool, and a lazy river. Very reasonable in the offseason as well, I think we paid about $65/night for a 2 br suite with a kitchen. You can't beat that.
" Hi mom!" Here's the indoor lazy river. Daddy and Adam are taking a trip on floats around a big oval river. A very relaxing, fun trip.
" Silly mommy! " Another picture of Adam in the lazy river. He's just about too big for that duck now, it's starting to sag noticeably with him in it. We're tranitioning him to water wings, but it'll take a little while to get him confident in them.
" I like this pool" With the December temperature approaching 80 degrees, we spent a little time in the outside pools as well. Adam really liked the outside kiddie pool, which had small fountains in it.
