Feelings; a cause to refrain.
Memories of unwanted pain.
Holding us near the edge
What is this thing that binds us?
Hearts filled with dread
Yet wanting to grow closer.
You are a friend of my soul
Our hearts continue to intertwine
Who knows how it will end?
