"hi," Jc said quietly when i opened the front door, "Can I come in for a second before we go?" he asked.
I stepped out of the way so that he could come in. "What have you been up to?" I asked, trying to make conversation.
"Nothing much," he sounded depressed. He seemed to scan the room then asked, "Where's Jordan?"
"She's in the kitchen." I said.
He took off towards the kitchen and I followed slowly after. Why is it that when JC is around me he seems depressed but as soon as he sees Jordan he's happy again. He told me everything was ok and that he wasn't mad any more but I can't seem to believe him. At least not when he acts like this.
"Are you ready to go?" I asked
"Sure, who's watching Jordan?" He asked.
"I am." Chrissy said walking into the kitchen, "You guys better get going if you have dinner reservations."
"She's right lets go." I said. I gave Jordan a kiss goodbye and hightailed it out of there before she could start crying.
JC took me to a really nice resturant and dinner was great except for the fact that JC was quiet most of the night. After dinner we went for a walk on the beach....which used to be one of our favorite things to do. I decided to ask him why he had been so distant from me since I came back.
"I was so in love with you Jillian. I had never felt like that about anyone else, and then you just left! I had no idea what to do. I was sad and I was sick and all I did was lay in bed and feel sorry for myself because you hated me." I started to protest but he continued talking, "You had to have hated me or else you wouldn't have left. I know you were pregnant but why couldn't you just told me about it? I would have been there for you." he said.
"Ok, I realize that I did the wrong thing but that doesn't explain the way you act around me." I said.
"I'm kind of mad at you, I guess. You left me, you didn't contact me at all, you didn't tell me I had a daughter, and I couldn't help raise her. When I found out you were back in town I was so happy but then I found out all the secrets you've kept from me and my happiness turned into hatred."
"Look, I said I was sorry. I did something stupid and I really regret it. I was young and stupid and I wish it wouldn't have happened this way, but it did and there is nothing we can do about it now except for live with it."
"I know that." he said quietly
"So then why are you acting weird?"
"I don't know how to act around you. I don't know what we are...relationship wise. You know? I mean I know we have a child together but are we going to live together? Get married? Just date? What?"
"Well, right now I guess we are just dating. We are trying to reform the bond we had before." I said.
"Ok, good." he said
"Good." I echoed
We walked in silence for a little while, "So your not mad at me any more?" I asked
"No, I forgive you and I want to rebuild our bond like you said." He answered.
"I'm glad."
Me too."
More silence. Suddenly JC stopped walking and pulled me against him. I looked into his eyes and i felt like there was no one else on the earth but us. We were so close I could feel his breath on my cheek. "I love you, Jillian." he said.
It was the first time I'd heard those words in almost a year. "I love you to, JC" I said
JC leaned over to kiss me and we stayed embraced in the most passionate kiss I've ever experianced for what seemed like hours. Suddenly I knew everything was alright again.
When he finaly took me home I was practically bouncing off the walls. It was late but Chrissy and Justin were up watching tv.
"Hi, guys!" I said excitedly.
"What's wrong with you?" Justin asked.
"Nothing it wrong with me, I'm just happy." I told them
"So, you worked things out with him, I guess." Chrissy asked.
Chrissy was the only one of my sisters that I can really talk to, and I basically tell her everything, so of course she knew about my problems with JC. "Yup, everything is perfectly fine....just great actually! Goodnight you guys." I said turning to go upstairs.
Before going to bed, I went and flipped on the computer...I had to tell Zoe what happened. Thankfully she was online so I IMed her......
