Value City Department Store is unique. The carry a wide variety
of merchandise, including clothing, housewares and toys.
Barbie
Collectors can find reasonable prices on current pink box items, but are
usually pleased to find good prices on overruns.

KB has great prices on the bathing suit and other pink box dolls.
You can even find

Goodwill Stores
Charlotte has several Goodwill Industries thrift stores. These are some
of the locations where I've seen used Barbies and friends.
They are usually priced $2.99 regardless of condition.
Usually you see naked dolls with Superstar faces, but ocassionally
you can find some gems to customize.

Hallmark Stores
Charlotte has several Hallmark Stores.
Hallmark has jumped on the
Barbie Bandwagon. Exclusive dolls, ornaments, and other
Holiday Barbiana
can be found at Hallmark.

In the spring and fall, there are doll and toy shows in Concord,
in Fort Mill, SC at the Hornets Training Center, and
at Metrolina Expo. Metrolina Expo is a huge antiques extravaganza where some doll collectors made lucky finds.
Cherished Friends
Cherished Friends is a store in Pennsylvania that does mail
order service for it's customers. You can usually find the
latest Barbie Doll, Gene, Robert Tonner Vinyl Dolls, and
