Captured near Petersburg Va on 25 Mar 1865, James was confined at Point Lookout MD until being released on 6 Jun 1865. James M. Born 18 Apr 1842, William A. Love married Nancy Permellia Jenkins 13 Feb 1866 in Union County. Born 3 Jun 1848, Permellia is the daughter of Amon and Serena Scott Jenkins. Dated 20 Mar 1862, William A. Love enlisted in CSA Co. I, 48th Reg. NC. Promoted to rank of Corporal prior to 31 Oct 1864, he was captured at Farmville VA on 6 Apr 1865. Confined at Newport News VA, William A. Love was released on 27 Jun1865.
